We own two of these series 2 “ elite” controllers and now this is the second time both controllers have had to be replaced in the past year due to the bumpers and/or triggers failing. Prior to this we had the first elite controllers and they had to be replaced 12 times between the 2 controllers due to the same failures. It’s funny how our $60 controllers that came with our systems are still in great order and functioning properly. I don’t think we will be buying these again. It’s disappointing to know that Microsoft can make a great system but can’t produce a controller that will last. To top it all off, Buy Buy is “out of stock” because these controllers are always failing. It’s so bad that Best Buy hiked their replacement/warranty fee for this item.

Great controller. Only issue is i cant use all the paddles since my fingers are too big

Back paddles mapped to face buttons = fps game changer for me, YMMV but my skill improved

There is no other way to play your favorite games on your Xbox one! The grips are fantastic, the esthetics are beautiful and your overall game play will be much better!

Works really well! I absolutely love the design for the controller!

So far so good. It definitely helps with the ability to configure buttons to each game. It’s a little pricy, but worth it if your looking for next level controls.

Gives you great control and options. The flippers alone are worth it.

Great controller for about 6 months, drift stick and sticky buttons take effect pretty often.

Great controller to use, when it works. I am about to send in my third controller back for warranty repairs in 5 months. Issues include stick drift, buttons sticking, and double pressing buttons with only a single input.

My son loves this controler. The grips are really good and he loves the color.

Controller was a open box and was still new no scratches or missing pieces.

If you're looking for the ultimate xbox controller, this is it. So many improvements over the last model.

Had purchase the scuf controller but i loose wireless signal often so i decided to go back to elite controller

Pros: battery built in. upgrade to rubber design to prevent peeling (we will see), hair trigger manual instead of on console settings, all black (preference), slightly longer cord, new cord connection it’s slightly bigger than previous model, Cons: button haptics are not as crisp, button stuck within 10 days, internal battery makes it heavier as it’s not removable, all black with no accents (green & silver) which was on previous model (personal preference), does not come with two long stick options just one, doesn’t last long, 10 days old and it broke, have to use my original elite from years ago which feels so much better, lighter and responsive in hand. Unfortunately they totally stopped making the elite a couple months back. Will be getting a replacement soon and will report back periodically with updates. Hopefully with an upgrade to the star count.
