Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the overall performance, impressive battery life, and extensive customization options offered by this controller. Users frequently highlight the comfortable grip, balanced weight, and high-quality feel during gameplay. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding the long-term durability of the buttons and the potential for stick drift. Additionally, while many appreciate the design, some find the premium price point and specific bumper functionality to be areas for improvement.

You’re gonna want the warranty.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had my controller for a little under two years and with the first year the right bumper stopped responding soon after the left. Good thing I can reconfigure the layout and use the paddles. NOPE! Those broke too! I take good care of my equipment and to have that many faults in that sort of a time is unacceptable! Don’t buy this without the warranty! You’re gonna need it.

Terrible
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awful product. Bumpers would stop working after a couple weeks. Double clicking for the bumpers was biggest issue.

Unmatched Performance & Comfort
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller in red, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! This controller is a game-changer for anyone serious about their gaming experience. Here’s why I’m giving it five stars: Design and Comfort The sleek red and black design is not only visually stunning but also feels premium in your hands. The ergonomic design and textured grips make it incredibly comfortable to use, even during marathon gaming sessions. The adjustable tension thumbsticks and custom profile options have taken my gameplay to the next level, allowing for precise and responsive control. Performance and Customization This controller excels in performance. The remappable buttons and adjustable trigger sensitivity offer a level of customization that is unparalleled. I love being able to tailor the controller to my exact preferences, which has significantly improved my gameplay across different genres. The 40-hour battery life is fantastic, and the built-in rechargeable battery means I no longer have to deal with disposable batteries. Versatility and Connectivity The compatibility with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows PCs is a huge plus. I can seamlessly switch between my console and PC without any hassle. The wireless connectivity is rock solid, with no noticeable input lag, providing a smooth and immersive gaming experience. Overall Value While the price is on the higher side, the quality and features of the Elite Series 2 Core justify the investment. The durability and build quality are evident from the moment you hold it, and the positive impact on my gaming performance makes it worth every penny. In conclusion, the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller has exceeded all my expectations. It’s a top-tier controller that offers comfort, customization, and outstanding performance. If you’re serious about gaming, this controller is a must-have. Five stars all the way!

Elite 2
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller back in November started having problems with it in January. My left thumbstick wasn't working correctly when pressing up and it was turning off randomly. I tried taking it back to Best buy but they haven't had any in for months. so they're in-store customer service said I was still within the 90-day warranty to send it back to Microsoft(I have the 2 year geek squad warranty). I had no other choice so I did so received what I'm guessing is a refurbished control from Microsoft. I have had that controller for about a week and them having worse problems with the left thumbstick then the first controller after 1 week. Best buy still doesn't have any in stock so I will be forced to send it back to Microsoft again. And I guess get another refurbished control

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller feels amazing from the first time you hold it to the thousandth time. The paddles take time to get used to but can give a real competitive advantage over others in games. Overall this thing is well designed, plays well, and the whole experience feels like a step above the rest.

Selling Used as New
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased what was supposed to be a "new" Elite Series 2 controller just before Thanksgiving. Controller showed obvious signs of wear and the 2 week GamePass trial code had already been used. Bestbuy refuses to do either a return or replacement curbside. Buyer beware.

DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU GET A WARRANTY.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.100 days after purchase (10 days after the pathetic 90-day warranty expires) my RB started to act up, as in sometimes it would work normally, other times I'd have to really press it to register. $90 bucks for Microsoft to repair the bumper on a ~200.00 controller after 100 days, sheah. Sold it as is on eBay as is, and counted my losses.
