Customers are saying

Customers regard the Xbox Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller highly for its overall performance, battery life, and customization options, with many appreciating its comfortable grip and feel. However, some customers have reported issues with stick drift and button quality. While the controller's weight and paddles are generally well-received, the price point and bumper durability are potential drawbacks for some users.

This controller is definitely built with quality. I feel if i drop it its going to damage my floor… the extra paddles on the back are a little much from my brail to process still but I’m working on that. The colors are customizable too which is cool. My only complaint is that the rubber on the grips feels a little slick at times but I’m sure they’ll wear in. Either way I’m still very happy with this controller.

Controller works great but noticed the buttons were lower quality than the elite series 2 controller I got from Microsoft.com

For the price, I would avoid these. They are too prone to issues (mine developed occasional stick drift after a few months). If they get down to $120, and you have Totaltech, they are pretty good. I use mine on my Switch, with a Bluetooth adapter, along with my Xbox, and it's nice when it isn't having troubles.

Great buy if you are replacing a older existing Elite series 2 controller and have the additional attachments. Works as expected. Love the feel. Would love it to be a little lighter as the Elite controller is one of the heaviest controllers on the market. Very responsive.

Purchased as a gift for use with a PC. The recipient of my gift tells me the quality on this controller is really good relative to some of the generic and off-brand versions.

I enjoy the ability to set up profiles for different games that you can swap between. Granted its only three slots but it is easy to swap them out within the app in the settings. Definitely recommend to a competitive gamer out there to give you an edge in the field.

Great controller if you want the ability to customize the settings. Once I played with the Elite, never went back to standard. Like being able to swap dpads, adjust trigger pull, and add levers to the back for additional functions.

Way better than the original. Textured handles feel great, it looks like is a solid piece unlike the original that started to lose the glue after a few months of usage then the rubber around the handle would bubble up and come off the controller. The triggers have 3 levels of resistance. The control sticks can be adjusted too... Very useful. The battery lasts a while even after long periods of gameplay on Elder Scrolls Online. It's worth the money. But if your original is in perfect working conditions then save the money and keep using that one.

It is a great controller other than the fact that it needs to be replaced every year because a part will break ok it. I’ve had problems with stick drift and with the bumpers on every elite controller I’ve owned. They are way to expensive to keep replacing every year.

I hate giving this a 3 but its only because i had 2 of these in 1 year. I bought one the stick locked up , easily exchanged it because of warranty and the new one locked up in less then a week. Now the plus is its easy to set up and it has multiple sticks that work well with my thumbs. But for being the Xbox brand, im disappointed

This controller is amazing. Like most xbox controllers it will eventually have stick roaming but if you catch it onsale buying it once a year and a half or so it isnt bad if you are a daily user like me.

The controller is great. It’s heavier compared to most other controllers, which is something I like. The trigger stops are nice for most games I play. Along with the four buttons on the back you can use to map buttons to.

I don't know why I spend so much money on a controller because I'm a PC gamer. Only use this thing for Street fighter and sports games. Great quality and customization options but truthfully could have just gotten by with the regular controller. Can't recommend because of the price and if you really want great control just get a PC and switch to keyboard and mouse
