||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a gamer, you have to get this controller. It is really well built, it is slightly heavier than a regular controller which makes it feel more serious and not like a plastic toy. The interchangeable parts add to your experience and the paddles offer new ways to play. Battery life is unbelievable, it can easily last for more than 40 hours compared to the maybe 10-15 I get on a PlayStation controller.

Very good controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good controller the quality is very good and the feel of it is nice. Would recommend. The battery life is long and the controller charges quickly. The buttons are very responsive and the paddles in the back are also very responsive and customizable. The triggers are also a nice thing on the controller and the trigger stoppers are good for fps games. Very good controller over all worth every dollar.

Great Controller!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing controller. I had an elite series one and Xbox did an amazing job on taking the best from the first series and making better for series two. The grip is better, has more options for customization as well as included battery with great life. Controller is a little smaller than first and feels great while long gaming sessions. Really worth the upgrade. Also uses a type usb c cord for charging as well as corded game play.

Xbox controller
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up this Xbox controller from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The controller itself is fantastic—comfortable grip, super responsive buttons, smooth joysticks, and amazing overall build quality. It feels great during long gaming sessions and performs flawlessly in every game I’ve tried. What made the experience even better was buying it at Best Buy. The product was in perfect condition, the price was great, and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Pickup was fast and easy, and the packaging was secure.

Great controller takes alot of normal gaming abuse
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the controller. I have had everything except the scuff controller. I am a heavy gamer and use the controller for games like Fortnite, destiny and gta5. The response is snappy and I can change out the joysticks at any time depending on what game I play. The p1-p4 buttons on the back are comfortable and even if you drop it the don't fall off. The settings for the controller on the Xbox are simple for anyone to understand and yet as complicated as you want it. You can adjust the curve set presets for different games and many or other people. I only gave it 4 stars because the click on the left joystick just went out on me. I have been gaming for 5 months between me and my 3 kids for probably 5 hours give or take and it held up better then any other controller I owned. It is covered under warranty so I am getting it fixed but I would definitely and I am going to buy another.

Nice controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the new additions to this controller over the first Elite controller, but there are a couple things I don't like as much as the first Elite controller. Such as the buttons are a lot louder the both my Elite v1 controllers. Second and most annoying is that on the Elite v1 controller you barely have to tap the A button to get it to register on the V2 I had to return the first one I received because the A button half the time would not register and the second one is the same way if not a little worse. You definitely have to push the A button all the way down and sometimes it still don't register. The last issue is that it like many other people (mainly YouTube reviews) have mentioned it continuously disconnects from my Xbox One X. Battery life seems to live up to what is stated of 40 hrs. I do enjoy the grip of the V2 more than the original even though I had changed my back grips on my V1 with Scuff. I do recommend for those that don't have the Elite V1, but if you already have the V1 I probably would not recommend spending the money for the upgrade.

Not horrible but buy new rather than used.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t give to much detail as I only had the controller for a week but I ordered an open box excellent condition, but was sent a controller in “good” condition. The b button did not work and the key to tighten and loosen the thumb sticks was not included and they were tightened to the point that they were stiff. I ended up returning it because I spent $100 on a controller that was unusable and not what I’d ordered.

Overall worth it
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very comfortable, and a lot of customization features. If you're a fan of the first one then you will definitely enjoy this one. Only downside is that it doesn't let you download controller schemes already created by other people like the first controller did. Also I had for a year and the RB button is starting to fail. Will have to be replaced

My go to
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my go to controller. When you pick it up, you immediately feel the quality. I love the customization feature options with the back paddles (sold separately) as well as the trigger response options. The built in battery life last a long time with a single full charge.

A good controller with great software.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the controller works well. The paddles and extra thumb sticks that are included are a nice plus. Setting the controller up is incredibly easy. The best feature is battery life. I have been using this controller for a year and even while playing 15-20 hours a week I’ll never have to charge it more than once a week. The controller can also be used wired while it’s charging, so you don’t even have down time between charges. The only reason for a 4 star rating versus a 5 is because of stick drift. After maybe 3 months of regular use, I started getting stuck drift in the right analog stick. It has a warranty, and Microsoft will fix it, but you have to send off the controller for who knows how long. For a $200 controller, stick drift should not be an issue. And if it happens outside of the warranty window, you’re stuck with it. Microsoft at the very least needs to sell new pots for the analog sticks that you can replace yourself. With that being said, you can counteract the stick drift by changing your dead zone settings. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one whenever this one finally bites the dust.

Elite has its issues but Best Buy is on it
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller and I've been through a couple. For me it's less about the panels than the sheer weight of it which seems right in my hands for all the gaming I do. Elite controllers have earned a reputation for falling apart over time, especially having sticky buttons, rubber grips that unglue, etc. Best buy has made this so easy with their two year protection which I definitely bought this time on both the controllers I bought. And I'm glad I did because about 15 months in I'm about to bring mine back to the store. Because there's nothing worse than having sticky buttons on a dragon's about to decimate you.

Awesome controller for PC gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s heavier than a regular controller but definitely a lot more grip and customization available. It feels comfortable while gaming and having it connect to the pc via wireless usb n gaming with a 65” 4k tv is awesome. I would definitely recommend this controller for pc.

Really nice, but pricey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Xbox Elite controller. I'm not a heavy duty gamer, but the customization and different stick/pad options are nice. The unit has nice weight and doesn't seem to drift. Hard to say if the price really justifies the upgrade from a standard controller in my case, but if you're a serious gamer I think it would.

Fantastic upgrade for gaming enthusiasts.

I especially appreciate the extensive customization options, allowing me to tailor it perfectly to my preferred gaming style. The addition of paddles significantly enhances gameplay, especially for fast-paced shooters and action titles. The battery life is impressive, ensuring long hours of uninterrupted gaming without the need for frequent charging. If you're looking for a controller that offers both comfort and performance, I highly recommend this one

Better than the series 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace my series one controller (rubber grips were coming off). This one seems better built and has more flexibility to set it up for what games you play and how you want to play them. Built in battery lasts for days, even with long sessions of gaming. It's a bit more expensive than the series one, but with no battery to replace and it comes with it's own charging base it is worth it for heavy gamers.

A very expensive controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great controller and has great features, but the price is too high. Yes, the grips are better and the extra buttons are cool if you remember to use them, but i always forget. I had 2 others that i had to return cause the Bluetooth would disconnect all the time and had to plug in. The switch in the back snapped off my other one. I am on my third and hope its the charm. Nice long battery. You can change the buttons and how it turns. If it was 80 bucks cheaper, it be perfect.

Into Competitive Gaming? This Is Not For You.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience with this controller has been rough to say the least… I play a couple videogames competitively and was looking for a heavy-duty, durable controller. I thought that the Elite Series 2 would be an excellent product to meet my needs. However, the quality control on these controllers is not great. I went through not one, not two, but three of these controllers only to give up on them entirely. On the first one, the shoulder buttons would spam their input if held down, and the “A” button was inconsistent. So, I decided maybe it was a fluke and got another in hopes it would work. Unfortunately, that one had stick drift right out of the box and again the button pad was inconsistent. I luckily had geek squad protection, so I went to get a replacement. However, AGAIN the controller had issues with the sticks, and this time trigger buttons. After that, I basically just let it collect dust on a shelf. I’ve given up on this controller. Just to be clear, I DO NOT recommend this controller in the slightest, but if you are still considering purchasing it, I can elaborate some of the good aspects. The weight and feel of the controller is lovely. The materials used make it “feel” premium. The battery life is great, and the options to switch out various components and tweak the stiffness of the sticks is a nice touch. The companion windows app that comes with it works great too, and it’s very easy to configure. When I did get a unit without stick drift, I was disappointed with the handling. There is a sort of dead space around the neutral area of the stick and require a bit of extra movement for input to register. Not a huge issue in most games, but if you are considering it for a game like Rocket League or any other precision driven game, it’s not worth it. Overall, if you want to take your chances with it for some casual gaming, go for it. If you want something with reliability, go for the regular Xbox Series A controller or Razer equivalent.

Get the coverage!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After about 2 years of use the RB and LB buttons would not work consistently and the rubber grip started to pull away. After some light research, this is a common issue with these controllers. I do love the weight and how much I can customize the controller. If you want to spend the extra money to get this over the standard controller, get the coverage.

The Ultimate Controller for Precision Gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Best Buy, and it’s hands-down one of the best gaming investments I’ve made! The premium build quality instantly stands out—its weight and textured rubberized grips feel sturdy and comfortable, perfect for long gaming sessions without any slip. The customizable features are a dream for any gamer. With interchangeable thumbsticks, D-pads, and four back paddles, I can tweak it to fit any game, from shooters to racing titles. The Xbox Accessories app makes button mapping and profile switching a breeze, letting me save up to three custom setups for quick changes on the fly. Performance-wise, it’s flawless. The adjustable-tension thumbsticks and hair-trigger locks give me pinpoint accuracy and faster response times, which have noticeably upped my game in competitive titles. The 40-hour battery life is a huge plus—no more worrying about recharging mid-session—and the included USB-C cable and charging dock keep things convenient. Whether I’m playing on my Xbox Series X, PC, or even via Bluetooth on other devices, the connection is seamless with zero lag. This controller is a total powerhouse for anyone serious about gaming!
