Its a little pricey for a console, but compared to some of the high end pc controllers its a lot cheaper than those and offers most of the same options. I would recommend you add the 2 year warranty for it. I have only had it for a 2 months or so and its been perfect, but if something were to go wrong it would suck to have to shell out 150 bucks again. I will update this review again if something happens with the controller, hopefully not though! :)

I had considered a Scuf controller in the past but they can get pricy when you start the build with prices going into the hundreds. If you have that kind of money laying around than it's not a bad buy for you. With the Elite controller, you get the best features for a pro controller, a good price, and if it is in stock you can walk out of the store with it in the same day. Even though it is described as a pro controller this will enhance anyone's game.
