Purchase with the BestBuy warranty in mind, moving parts and continual use will more than likely drift a joystick or break a trigger/shoulder button. I baby these controllers and have had to replace 3 in the past 6 or so years. Best controller ever, although very pricey and wish the build quality was better.

Pros -Very comfortable in hand -Use of metal, grips and soft touch plastic made it feel premium -but... Cons -Right stick was biased down and a little to the right (drifted). - Xbox Accessories software left a lot to be desired. The overall product is nice. Very nice. Yet the experience doesn't leave you saying "Man, I am really glad I spent $150 on this controller." The hardware itself and trying to take advantage of it by fine tuning the limited settings available just pollutes the simplicity of having a console in the first place. If you're gonna drop this kind of money on a premium gaming accessory, make it a mouse/keyboard. The complications and customizations that are available for those already fit into the PC ecosystem. My unit had a drifting right stick. I was not satisfied with the rest of the experience. I now have $150 invested elsewhere. P.S. Microsoft is working on a new Elite Controller that will release on their current more reliable and more consistent controller platform with Bluetooth and what not. At least wait for those to drop before pulling the (hair-pin) trigger.

Great for maximum gaming experience. Has lots of buttons to customize. My son loves it.

It was a gift so I can’t review the actual use of it. I CAN say that she loves it and it was a major hit. I have asked her how she likes it and she said that once she became used to it she loves it. The extra functions have improved her game and she enjoys it more. Upper teens through mid 20s is a tough age to buy for. Nice to not have to resort to gift cards.

Easy to use and setup, though the paddles have a learning curve. Very customizable.

The controller is heavier then regular Xbox controllers. The textured grip feels great.

I've had this controller replaced twice, I'm now on the third one. It's a $150 controller and $21 for a two year warranty. You have to buy the warranty every time you replace the controller. So collectively I've spent $192 on this controller plus tax. $192 for this poor quality thing. It has such poor build materials that break easily. Personally I've had stick drift in every one of the three I've had. After the third time coming in I said don't bother with another warranty. I'm not spending even MORE money on this controller for it to break in 2 months. Microsoft won't touch it if it's past the 90 day warranty. And best buy won't touch it (for free) without a 2 year warranty purchased OR you bring it back within 15 days which somehow the controller lasts that long. So my only options are spending more money to get it repaired which I refuse to spend more money on an already ridiculous expensive controller OR I play threw the pain or throw it away. What a hunk of junk
