Great controller. Raised thumb sticks and having paddles on the back are a must.

The controller is just what you need for an advanced gamer.

The controller is exactly what it describes: Elite. It is the best control on the market that is readily purchasable in store. Other companies like Scuf make controls that are also quite impressive but must be ordered online and you wait weeks for it to arrive. This control has a phenomenal feel in your hands. Sturdy; yet not overweight. Smooth; yet not slick. It's native app for remapping is also great. I don't use the paddles but they are also designed well yet located horribly. My only gripe is the durability. This is my second elite. If it weren't for how greatly it outshines the rest of the competition I wouldn't have bought another. After around 4 months of gaming my left thumb stick began to "drift." In games the avatar you control would walk forward on his own. In addition the left bumper also popped off. You would think for $150+ this control would last awhile and not succumb to the problems of old controllers before it but it still does. Other than the durability (it's a major issue with this control considering it's price) it's phenomenal. If Microsoft had a better warranty policy in place it would receive a 5* rating without hesitation.

Best controller there is. I would recommend it to everyone.

Every FPS gamer needs this (and I’m sure other genres too, but I play FPS). It grants you the movement you visualize when you imagine being good. I also got the scuf elite paddle attachments because the vertical paddles feel better than basically pressing paddles with your palm on the default version.

Love the ability to customize and the sensitivity is superb!

So for me controllers have been a temporary thing as they don't usually survive the playtime and wear and tear that I put them through. But this elite controller is not the case, it feels sturdy and durable, ready for all mi put it through. I admit the price wasn't the best, but I'm not taking away a star as it'd still a great product!

I bought this as a gift for my son. He aspires to be a professional gamer. He primary uses it for FPS tournaments online and says that it is great. I had read that they sometimes get sticky. It hasn't even been a month but all is well so far. I purchased the "Geek Squad" warranty as a precaution for such an expensive controller. I had heard that they will honor it and repair/replace as necessary. Time will tell.

I used to go through xbox controllers 2 to 3 times a year. Being a big guy who loves gaming I was rough on my controllers. I got the elite controller and have broken several of them, but thank goodness for the GeekSquad protection, I only pay $25 for a new elite vs. $70 3 times a year!

Good controller with geek squad protection since the bumpers can break very easily.

Nice controller, great grip. A little high priced IMO. Overall though a nice controller.
