The controller is great in every way especially with its extras. Problems I had with it is it takes getting used to holding it properly with the paddles...my hands kept hitting the paddles and cramping up. It is noticeably heavier than the standard controller. If you use a controller charging station it may not work on this controller since this one has a different battery cover.

Although expensive, the Elite is the best controller available for the serious gamer. I use 2 triggers (reload and switch weapons). Trigger sensitivity allows faster aiming and firing. Programmable stick sensitivity is also very useful. Because of the high cost, the 2 year warranty is recommended.

All XBOX one controllers are flimsy. They either develop forward drift in the left stick, or the bumper buttons break. The longest any have lasted issue free is 6 months. It's not the user, It's the quality. I have XBOX 360 controllers that are 8 years old that still behave like they are new.

Second elite controller. First one lasted me 3 years and had to replace it after the gipps on the side started peeling and the thumb sticks weren't responding. Thought about taking it back considering I've been hearing rumblings about a Elite controller 2.0 but couldn't wait.

Awesome customization (I'd recommend checking out YouTube to get the most of the features). We've had it for a few months now (daily use) and the primary user thinks the paddles are showing more wear than he would have hoped, but he definitely likes it better than his Scuf. Takes getting used to because this controller weighs more than the Scuf, but he's pleased!

Best controller I've ever used. I was on the fence for awhile about it. It's not cheap. However you don't want cheap when it comes to durability, versatility and comfort. It is night and day from a standard controller. Only one I use now and I own 4 other official Xbox ones. Simply great!

This is by far the best controller your gonna get for xbox one. Them scuff controllers....garbage 3rd party stuff.... 1 thing to look out for is the temperature change around your area. The rubber grips on mine started to peel off when it went from hot to cold around here. I had to super glue it back together. Other then that GET THIS CONTROLLER! you wont regret it.

Once you feel the butter smooth thumb sticks, you will know you made the right choice. A bit pricey, but once you have it in your hands a couple of hours, you will know it was money well spent. I would suggest getting the protection plan for this item.

Bought it for my fiancé, he's been going on about it 24/7 and it had been sold out for months, so when I finally got my hands on it I was super excited to give it to him. No complaints from him, he loves it! I do recommend getting the warranty on it though.

This is not the controller to hand over to the kids to knock around, this is the one you keep secret and respect. Really comfortable and easy to use, yet it is baffling it doesn't come with rechargeable batteries. Yes, it will take a bit to figure out the exact layout of changeable buttons that fit your gameplay style, but that is part of the fun. Well worth the price.

This control is awesome and it feels premium compared to the regular Xbox controller. But the new elite controller that’s coming out is packed with more features and it has a 40 hr battery life. This controller didn’t come with a rechargeable battery.

Great controller, the customization and solid feel of the controller make it a fun to use. However the joy sticks are made fairly cheaply causing them to start "drifting" when trying to aim only after a a couple short months. Highly recommend buying geek squad protection with this item as the manufacturer warranty on this expensive product is only 3 months

Love the extra heft and solid construction. Very customizable and I especially dig the back paddles. My only issue with the "out of box" version of the controller is with how easily the paddles can be depressed while playing. I had to modify mine by putting cabinet door bumpers on the edges of the paddles. More pressure is needed to press them but it's perfect for me.
