The controller is built with super nice quality materials the only tough part about it is learning the different settings and finding the right ones. Paddles are very sensitive considering if you set the controller down on a soft surface all paddles compress.

An excellent controller that feels great in the hands. Very responsive and have had no problems with it so far. I do recommend spending the little extra money on geek squad protection as these controllers have a tendency to start to break down after about a year of use.

Expensive but worth every dollar. I do not ever recommend anything to anyone else. It is not my business to do so. Please don't take my negative answer on recommending to be against the product. It is just a stupid question.

It’s an amazing controller but after a year of using my old one the grips started to fall off, and I was able to get another one because of the insurance, so I would advise anyone buying one to buy the insurance plan that Best Buy offers with the controller

Great controller although expensive. Lasted longer than my sons scuf controller and with the best buy extended warranty also has the best warranty. With most parts now integrated into boards, reparing them yourself is off the table. Actually like the controller and microsoft just anounced a version 2.

The elite controllers are one of the most popular items during the holiday season. I was lucky enough to order mine for pick up when it was “sold out”. Bought this for my bf as a bday gift. He’s had his eye on it since he first saw it. Boys *rolls eyes* lol

If you want to gain an edge on your competition this is one way to do it. I love the trigger adjustment and the feel of the controller. It stays stable when I start getting jumpy. The adjustments make this machine worth owning.

absolutely garbage until i bought the scuff paddles for it which was another $40. i would set the controller down and it would push buttons i did not want it to push and with the included paddles i never felt like i had a good grip on it and had to hold it in a funny way. all of my probables where fixed when i got the scuf paddles

The controller is as great as advertised, however, the grips come off eventually. Some after a few months, some after a year or so. No replacement parts available from Microsoft, you have to replace the whole controller because the rubber comes off the handles.

Controller is pricey but my son loves it and and will never go back to regular controller. The negative reviews on build quality frightened me a little, but I bought the extended warranty just in case. My son has had controller for over a month and has had no problems.

I have been using the controller for about a month now and have started to experience minor stick drift in the left stick. The paddles have started to become loose as well. I really like the taller sticks and ability to include trigger stops. Overall this is a good controller, but could be better.

Although the controller still works, the padding around the triggers and the thumb; and the joystick wear out to quickly. By disabled son plays daily for hours, and none of the controllers I have purchased; regardless of price, last for more than a year. I always purchased the replacement plan. Well worth it.

i bought the control to play call of duty. let me say that I was already a good player on a regular control and now that i have the elite controller honestly in my opinion i dont see much of a difference if you have the money i will say buy it if not then just get use to playing on a regular controller because its really all the same..

I really don't know if there are other options on the market, but I can say that this controller was very happily received by an advancing gamer in the family. The customizable knobs and switches make it very comfortable and quicker response.
