If you are buying this controller, you should get the warranty. I say this because if you are going to drop ~$150 for a controller then you are likely someone who plays a lot of games. Thus you will be using this controller all the time, so it would be wise to drop the extra $30 or so dollars to protect your investment for 2 years. Also I would recommend buying some rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries and a smart charger for this controller (don't waste your money on rechargeable battery packs, as they can only be used on your XBOX ONE controllers and nothing else...rechargeable AA batters generally last longer and your can use them on other electrics). If you are looking at buying this controller, then you should already know everything it does and you probably only have questions on whether its worth the $150 or not. The quick answer is YES, but only if you are a serious gamer. If you just play to have fun, then I would say don't waste your money on this controller...you are really paying for the ability to shoot quicker and most importantly the use of the four back buttons. The four back buttons, to me, is what makes this controller so great. You can now walk/run, aim, jump, and fire all at the same time without having to lift one of your fingers/thumbs from one button to the next... Lastly I would say this controller takes sometime to get use too. At first it will feel really weird in the hands and a little off balance (weight wise). But after playing for 4+ hour with it, you should be playing better than you ever have before!

Was a gift for my brother but tried it out. Weight is perfect and customization is awesome.

This control is pretty sweet. Triggers are nice and grip is better than the standard control. Easy to set up and customization is awesome. The different stick heights are a nice touch for bigger hands and the mic plug is easy compared to old control.

I used my landlords controller to play a few games. First, I love the weight over the other controllers. The textured rubber palm holder feels awesome. The interchangeable knobs are great, I just hope they hold up better than the regular ones over time. Haven't used the palm triggers for racing games yet. I also have yet to try the button mapping feature. I took the plunge to buy this and it is worth the price.

I was initially intimidated by the price point of this controller, but you get your money’s worth. It’s very competitive with 3rd party “modded controller” manufactures from a 1st party source. Very customizable and several features that make the controller your own. Love that you can have 2 saved presets, and the app makes customizing them easy for beginners and detailed for pros.

The build quality and the feel of it in your hand makes the price worthwhile.

Got this controller as a Geek Squad Certified open box item. Very happy with this product and would definitely buy again from the "Certified open box" selection. The controller itself is worth the extra money and feels better quality! Wish it came with the rechargeable battery but that's a Microsoft thing and not Best Buy.

I'm not one to spend so money on a fancy controller, but after owning the Elite controller, it's well worth it. The quality cant be beat, the interchangeable parts are fantastic and the extra control paddles are great. It does take a little time to train your gaming mind that there's extra controls on the underside of the controller. Once you get used to it, you dont want to use the regular controller.

This is brilliant idea. I am beyopng pleased with my controler. I espically like the customization and grip. It's heavier that usual but I am fond of it's weight for such a high price tag it's nice to know this isn't just another piece of plastic. Get it!

I purchased this elite controller and i must say it is by far the best controller ive had. The paddles and thumb sticks are definately very magnetic and you should not have a problem with losing them and having them fall off with normal use. It does take some readjusting on holding it especially with all four paddles, but i personally find that just two paddles is enough. Definately a good option for those jumping from console to pc and just have to have a controller...atleast while you adjust to mouse and keyboard! But i must say, accuracy with mouse and keyboard will still be superior, but this comes closer than anything else especially with the different lenght thumb sticks. I personally use the stock xbox thumb stick on the left and the longer taller one on the right for look movement. This allows greater accuracy during sniping and aiming down your sites. Great for playing more casual games on your big screen after a long day of work. My only cons would be the battery (i think for this price point, its should include a rechargable one) and how BIG the usb stick for connecting to your pc is. All in all, i definately recommend.

Excellent build quality! 4 extra buttons on bottom side! Every button can be remapped!

The build quality is great and feels heavier then the standard controller but not too much. Comes with 4 paddles but I only use one or two at a time but the trigger stops are very helpful in almost every online shooter. The thumbsticks are easily interchangeable and never fall off. $150 is a lot for a controller but the value this one brings compared to a 3rd party like SCUF Gaming makes it worth it

I have used and enjoyed this controller for almost a month now, and it feels brilliant! Very responsive, and the sticks do not feel intrusive to me. I know many people including friends of mine have had issues with the RB/LB buttons not holding up well, but I have not had this issue yet. The issue that does bother me is the charge port. It does not hold up well, even compared to the original xbox one controllers, and for 150 dollars, I was expecting a bit more.

I'm amazed by the quality of this controller! The button maping is super easy to do and I love the fact that you can preset for certain games. The textured grip under the controller is great for long gameplay. The Interchangeable paddle buttons are awesome, with component kits to help you customize the controller. Love that it comes with extra thumb sticks. It comes with both short and long thumb sticks. It only comes with one set of paddle buttons though. It does come with 2 Directional Pad buttons, one standard and one multidirectional. I just wish the charge and play kit was included since your paying $150 retail for this controller. It includes a braided charging cable and 2 pack AA Duracell batteries. All of these items included with a soft travel case. You can't go wrong with the endless button customization offered on this controller.

It's easy to tell Microsoft did their homework when they developed this controller. It is solid, hefty, and its components are much more durable making it smoother and more responsive. The ability to repurpose and add or remove its components to make it fit your play style allows you to really make it your own.

If you want complete control to map an XBOX ONE controller to your every desire and whim, then this product is DEFINITELY for you! A MUST-HAVE for all gamers! ----- Everything about this controller screams QUALITY. The machined metal parts have a weighty, durable, professional feel. The controller comes in a custom carrying case which also houses all your spare controller parts. The included adjustable thumb-stick extensions are nice. The controller comes with a long braided cable to connect to the XBOX One (also can run wireless with 2 double AA batteries). You can also adjust the sensitivity of each individual thumbstick. Then you have the 4 extra metal paddle buttons underneath the controller. These paddles can be removed if desired (they are held in place via magnets). Also, the two trigger buttons have a "stopper" option in which it only takes half the squeeze to produce the same action as a full trigger pull, giving you valuable extra mili-seconds. ----- Overall, EXCELLENT piece of equipment that gives you, the player, a huge advantage and complete customization!

149.99 may seem like a lot of money for a controller but you certainly get what you paid for. On top of that, I took advantage of best buy's promotion where I also received a copy of Halo 5 for free with purchase of the controller. So if you have any doubts about spending the 150, wait for a similar deal. but it is worth the 150 all on its own if you're anything more than a casual gamer.
