Purchased this elite controller for our son for a gift. He is 15 years old and absolutely loves it. Yes we would recommend it!

I really like my elite controller. It performs very well and I don't get any lag.

At first I was impressed by the functionality and versatilaty of the controller. 5 months later it is falling apart. Underside grip is lifting up. RB Button has slowly failed over time to not only being inconsistent in its button registering, but it is now loose and could possibly break and fall out. Chatted with customer support and my only option is to buy a new one and turn this one into a $150 paper weight.

I bought this for my niece and she loves it. I don't really understand what the difference is from a regular controller, but she is very happy and says it works great.

The Xbox elite controller feels good as far as weight goes when you are using it. I like that you can choose what size joysticks you want. It is great until it starts falling apart. If you spend alot of time gaming then it won't last long. The rubber on the back where you hold it starts coming off after about 2 months of use. The buttons on the front top above the trigger buttons will soon fall off. The D-pad will begin to fail when pushing left and eventually completely quit working. Then to top it all off your character will start drifting to the side for no reason at all which makes game play extremely irritating at best and impossible at worst. Don't wast the money. We bought three, one for each family member, and the same thing happened to all three so it wasn't just one bad controller that got past QC. It is the controller design. I am now using a regular wireless controller that costs about costs about $40 and no problems with it. It has lasted alot longer than the elite.

This controller makes playing video games on xbox one feel better. Creating and storing different control layouts is very useful.

But it did break. Def buy the 20 dollar plan totally worth it. One of the control sticks got messed up and ruined everything.

Great as a spoil gift for your gamer. Makes the gaming more realistic and fun with the creative thumb pads.
