However not worth the extra money otherwise. The RB/LB button design is flawed and breaks after just a couple months of play. You will see there are cheap repair kits for this but a pain to fix. Luckily I purchased the Best Buy extended warranty for an extra $20 and was able to get a new controller from them. Otherwise I was screwed.

It becomes a necessity to have once you get use to the back paddles...however, I've had to replace my triggers already and the rubber grips are peeling bad. I'm very careful with my things, it resides in it's case and yet it looks like my children took it out for a spin....for a premium price, you're not getting premium durability.

No matter how much I tweaked it with the settings and tried to get used to the sticks on the back, it just didn't feel right. It played just like any regular controller and I kept hitting the sticks by mistake making my guy crouch or prone.

Thanks for sharing your perspective on the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, and we're sorry it hasn't quite lived up to your expectations. While the paddles on the back of the controller offer more finger controls for your games, they may not be right for all games or players. The Elite gives you the option to configure your controller the way you want, including removing the paddles completely if they impede your movements.
