Great Controller, Might Not Be For Everyone

I really like this controller. It has a little more weight to it and overall feels great. It took a little getting used to using the paddles but I really like it now that I've had time to adjust. The analog sticks feel a little stiffer too. Even though it's pricey, I'm still happy with it.

I absolutely love this controller. It's built to last. I've been using it for months. I play fps games. And this controller has taken the abuse and still plays like a new controller. It is completely customizable through the app. It's worth the price you pay. It will easily outlast multiple regular controllers. I would have been through 2 controllers by now. But this one is built so well, it'll be a long time before it would need repaired or replaced. It takes some practice to get used to the 4 pads on the bottom of the controller, but once you do you'll never want to not use them. I never have to take my hands off the sticks playing fps games. That us my game for sure.

The most amazing controller I have ever used! The interchangeable thumb stick allow you to customize the feel and comfort of gaming. The triggers have adjustable response settings on the controller itself. Paddles are super convinent for quicker response gaming and not having to move your thumb off buttons to trigger combos and such. Even more amazing is that you can connectt his to your PC and reassign the paddle assigned button mirroring to customize it for your gaming needs... Only negative - Cost...I mean DAYUM!

I read a lot of reviews on this and other 'custom' controllers before buying. This unit has good heft and feels substantial. It has multiple sticks to get just the right height. Along with the 4 additional back side paddles the customization app allows excellent fine tuning of the precision. The sticks, D Pad and back side paddles are held on magnetically. The sticks and pad are fine but you can knock the paddles loose fairly easily. Also even after using it for almost 3 months and only having 2 paddles installed I still occasionally hit one or the other inadvertently which can cause a problem if you are in the middle of a gun fight and suddenly you swing your weapon like a club. The other issue is the left stick has gotten to where it will not respond when I push it up. Luckily I am in the 90 day warranty period so I should be able to get it replaced.

I loved the original elite controllers, but they certainly had their share of problems. This edition fixes all of my complaints. The integrated rechargeable battery saves you from needing to buy your own and it lasts much longer than the past rechargeables I've bought. The grips are significantly better than the ones on the original too. The second edition also has so many more customization options, like adjustable tensions on the sticks and an extra setting to the trigger locks. If you liked the original elite, you'll love this one.

I was skeptical at first about the price but after using it and going through the learning curve, i've learned to fall in love with an accessory. It makes gaming so much better in the sense that your thumbs don't leave the joysticks. You also have two settings in case a friend wants to use your controller. The application on the Xbox one allows you endless possibilities on configuring your buttons and sensitivities. Also there are two notches in the back of the controller that allow you to pull halfway on the trigger. It is made of better materials then standard Xbox one controller it feels a bit heftier and looks better. Here is a picture of what it looks like with the chat pad.

Every issue I've had with older models has been fixed. Removal of all the paddles and changing of the sticks is magnetic and very fast and easy. Remapping of the buttons is a very useful feature. There are many other reasons I feel confident in saying this is the highest quality controller I've ever used.

Perfect controller, nothin wrong with it other than 1 small thing, the charging port on the top, I feel it's very delicate and if not careful that probably will be the first thing to go out. That cable is great and tough. Paddles are great. Joy sticks stay in place if changed. The case is awesome. Love it!

This controller is the officially licensed version of a Scuf Gaming pro controller and then some. You don't get the customizations you get with Scuf (colors) but there is more ability with this to set it up exactly the way you like and to save multiple configurations. I got a spare because it is so good.

This controller is very well built, feels substantial and easily customizable. I bought this at 30% off with a student coupon, but it is well worth the full price. While this will not make you an elite gamer, i wound it more responsive, and the extra buttons on the bottom made it so I didn't have to move my fingers around as much. I did find myself doing better in games such as Overwatch, enough so that I noticed a difference.

Yes it is expensive, but it feels like it. From the triggers to the weight of the controller. The buttons on the back take some getting used to but once you do you will never go back. I just use 2, sprint and dive. And it makes a huge difference. If you have the money I can't recommend this enough.

Great, But May Not Be Right For You

There's no doubt that the Elite controller is better than the already great standard Xbox One controller. It's got better components (that are interchangeable), better "feel" (thanks to rubberized grip), and even a carrying case and 9' cable in case you're so Pro, you can't stand the latency inherent to wireless. Is it worth more than double the asking price of a standard controller? The answer to that lies in what kind of gamer you are. Are you a pro player or someone who loves to fiddle with the many customizable options? If so, consider this as a worthwhile investment toward meeting your finickiest standards. Do you play every day, and the thought of grasping the standard controller one more day bores you to death? If yes, then the extra cost of the controller may eventually pay for itself after many sessions. If you're in any other category, this may be a difficult product to recommend at the full asking price. But, If it ever goes on sale (and it likely will), don't hesitate to pick up this superior controller.

Was hesitant to buy as the price for a controller is a little high. Great controller that feels very well made. Easy to custom configure and love the configuaration and the paddles l.

Feels good in hand and 1 year warranty. Bought son one he goes through a lot of controls. The price kept it from being a 5, wish it was just $100. Should last until next Xbox comes out and then some. If you are using the paddles you will have to loose your grip a little. It will take you a few days to get use to it on Call of duty but no other controller will be the same.

My wife got this for me as a gift, it's almost unnecessarily expensive but on the other side, it's like the difference between a Chevy and Cadillac, it's just fun to use and customizable.

I would suggest this controller to anyone who wants to take their game to the next level. The controls are smooth and the customizable buttons/D-pad/thumbsticks are outstanding. The extra money spent on this controller will definitely pay off in the long run. It's durable and very high quality.

I love the way this feels and the paddles are cool, I just have to get used to them and start using them more. I read some reviews on this breaking easily so I purchased Geek Squad protection for it just in case I have problems down the road. So far I love this controller

The Elite Controller has a lot to offer when compared to a standard Xbox One controller. Probably the most useful features include the bottom paddles and for certain games the trigger stops. However, I have gone through a lot of Elite Controllers since my first purchase. Typical issues include drifting on the left thumbstick, faulty left bumpers, and failing trigger stops. For $149.99, I would expect a product that can last for more than a few months before having these issues. I would recommend trying to get one of these if they are on sale and make sure you buy the extra protection plan!

If you intend to play shooter games and be competitive, this is what you need. Very good overall, only complain is that the rubber becomes warped overtime, I usually don't buy best buy warranty for anything. I wish I had for this, as i hear they exchange them no questions asked. Currently using with my ps4 as well (with adapter from brooks)

I love this controller. First off, the feel and weight of the controller is fantastic. It fits snug in your hand and my hands never get sore even after a long gaming session. Second, it is awesome that all the analog sticks are switchable. I like the extra control from the longer analog stick for 1st Person Shooters. Third, the extra buttons on the back are the best feature. It is awesome being able to program those to be any button you want. I program them to be A B X Y. It is awesome to be able to hit those buttons without having to move your thumb off of the joystick. Overall, this is a great controller and is definitely worth the price.
