The price point for this item is not for the faint of heart. As a dedicated gamer that plays many genres of games, this controller does a great job for me. I like the interchangeable sticks and quick buttons on the back. The thing I like best about it is the weight. It feels heavier in your hand as apposed to a normal controller that feels cheap after using an Elite. The customization in the console lets your store pre-sets for 2 games at a time. Allowing you to toggle them at any point with a switch. The case it comes with is a nice addition to help protect your investment. This controller always me to keep my thumbs on my thumb stick while jumping and dashing in halo 5 thanks to the triggers on the back. It took maybe 2 or 3 days to get used to it but after I did its was worth it! You will be getting more heads hits an dogging rockets

My husband had been talking about this controller for some time. We picked it up the other day and other then just a little time to get a feel for the controls, he loves it. It’s well made and we are considering getting two more for the kids

Get a 2-year warranty the bumpers break pretty easily but definitely worth the price for the 2 year warranty to get a brand new controller if something happens. But mine only broke because I dropped it on hardwood floor but it's a known fact for other controllers outside of stuff like that that happens

I've always wanted a Scuf but really didn't feel comfortable trusting the quality of the product. I did however get to use a friend's Elite controller and I was in. I use only two paddles for jumping and crouching in a majority of first person shooters and it really does make a difference for the better.

The Xbox Elite controller feels great in your hands. It's rubberized texture provides a non-slip surface when your hands start to sweat after hours of intense gaming. Two saved settings are great to quickly change the response of your controller to fit the need of games that require different levels of response. Four additional buttons (paddles) are great when using more than one A/B/X/Y button at the same time is required. The Elite feels like the top of the line controller that it is. Pulling the trigger to buy the Elite will NOT leave you disappointed.

The extra buttons are really helpful. The configuration options are comprehensive. The overall build quality is amazing. Feels really nice in my hands.

Love this controller BUT get the three year protection. Awesome weight, customization and feel. However there is a known issue of stick creep where a movement input on one of the sticks will be detected although there really isn’t any input resulting in, for instance, a character to be moving forward unwanted. The warranty through Microsoft is only one year even though those thieves know the issue exists and there is no way to fix it or get them to replace it after a year. Good thing Best Buy stands behind their product. Long and short...if you have the disposable income for this toy, it’s awesome...just get the geek squad protection.

its gets a little getting use to but give it 2 or 3 days and you will see gaming skills get better. with the paddles on the back it helps to keep both thumbs on the thumbsticks, thus allowing you to have a slight advantage. you wont regret buying this

The great quality of this controller can be noticed in the metal construction, magnetic trigger connections, and heft of the controller. The bad part about this controller is the premium you have to pay if you want any sort of color that isn't the OG black controller due to the Scuff partnership.

This is one of the nicest controllers you can get out there that will truly enhance your gaming experience. The level of customization is amazing. The controller is solid and performs flawlessly and the paddles on the back allow me to play how I want to.

The Elite Controller is the controller the Xbox should have included in the first place! Though I am a huge fan of this controller and use it exclusively, I would be remiss if I didn't mention its lack of durability. Since I purchased my original controller I have had to replace it 3 times! And I don't throw my controllers, nor are there any kids who use it, but parts would just begin breaking. Whether it was the right stick getting loose, the left stick loosing its sensitivity or the rubber coming off the back. For $150 I feel as this controller should be much more durable than what it has been. Warranty, forget about it, 90 days and Microsoft no longer cares, good luck trying to get anything done. I would highly recommend purchasing the geek squad protection plan for the extra security, you will likely end up using it. Though I am not happy with the durability I only removed one star, because at the end of the day there is not another controller out there better than the elite xbox one controller.

This new button configuration (paddles) was a little challenging to get used to but worth the effort. My favorite feature is being able to execute button commands with no need to remove your thumb from the stick. The extra weight is a nice touch too.

Fantastic product! Very well made and works perfect! Why buy a scuff when you can get this and no be classified as a cheater. Perfect for using if you don't like using A or B you can map those to the triggers on the bottom of the controller. 10/10 IGN

This,I have been waiting for to get my hands on(literally)at first it may seem confusing because you can do so much with this controller,but from the removable sticks and D pads it perfect.The feel around your palms and the weight of the controller feels really premium,and the fact that the sticks are mental is brilliant.but what tops it all off is that fact that you can customize the button lay out to your liking.you don't like what the X button does?change it!you don't like the RT button,change it.i don't say this alot but this Elite controller is flawless.

The price is the only problem with this controller, and after having it for a month... It's worth every penny. Read other reviews, as people who have them. They will all say the same thing. This absolutely is a must have for a hardcore XBox gamer.

This controller is one of a kind and very well made. I am an occasional gamer but with this control I will definitely be playing more often. I really like the fact that you can program the paddles to whatever functions you want it to have. The controller is pretty expensive but its a very good purchase especially since the xbox one x is around the corner.

The look and feel is top notch. The customization is great. The hair triggers are nice. The paddle might get hit by accident but they are worth it.

So yeah the elite is totally a game changer, you wont want to go back to a standard controller after using this. No it won't make you better, but having the ability to never almost never take your thumbs off your sticks is great but does take some getting used to. After about 50 hrs or so Im starting to feel comfortable with it and my reactions are becoming rewired and faster to the paddles. The thumbstick feel is honestly enough for them to do a mid tier controller with those upgraded sticks. They are so buttery and responsive. I was recommended to pick this up for awhile, I wish I hadn't put it off.
