Fantastic Controller with Serious Durability Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite controller is a fantastic piece of hardware, but it is not built to last. Within a year, the rubber grips started to detach from the controller, and last week (after about 3 years of semi-regular use) the left thumbstick base broke inside the controller itself. Microsoft does not offer any repair options for out-of-warranty controllers and does not sell replacement parts, despite the fact that this piece of hardware costs half as much as the console it controls. If you think you can squeeze $150 of value out of it before it breaks definitely pick it up. Otherwise despite its very cool features, it's a questionable long-term value.

Not much difference
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great idea for a controller, if you play a game it's made for. I used it for a week, the controllet felt great, but trying to get use to paddles and all the other functions, just didn't seem worth it. Gaming experience was almost identical to a regular controller

Below average
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m very easy on my electronics, especially at the $150 price mark. I’ve had 3 and each one was defective. Trigger button broke inside, right toggle was severely traveling when not using. Very unhappy with the quality.

Way over priced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't care what anyone says about ability to customize controller layout. Doesn't justify steep price. Does have nice weight and overall comfort. If you are set on getting this controller, definitely (like other reviewers) purchase 2 year insurance.

Expensive but amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's definitely pricey, almost 3 time the cost of a regular controller. It is however the unquestionably best controller you can buy. Fit and finish is great, grip feels awesome, customization is cool, case is high quality. If you want the best, this is it.

Great feel but mine break after 1 year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm torn on the Elite Controller.. It is a really good feeling controller and the magnetic paddles on the back are a literal game changer. However, I'm on my third one and after about a year of use (I play 1-2 hours of games every day/every other day) the rubber grips start coming unglued from the back of the controller and become very uncomfortable. Also at about a year buttons will start going out (in my cases specifically the X button and Bumpers) Microsoft needs to make some major improvements on this $150 premium controller or they're going to force retailers to constantly lose money on returns.

Very fragile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you accidentally drop it even once the button will pop off and its broke. I have 2 happened to both. They still work but you have to make sure you can put the snapped off piece back in. Which is a headache

Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Poor quality and is heavy which should work in its favor but doesn't. The rubber feels good but when I dropped it (accidentally, not rage) from about 8 inches up, it hit flat on the coffee table and neither trigger has worked since.

Posted .Hello Prohakr. Microsoft warrants the Xbox One or Accessories will not malfunction under Normal Use Conditions for 1 year from the date you purchased it; and for Accessories, means 90 days from the date you purchased it. Please contact us directly so we can assist you with a possible replacement at: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/browse/xbox-one . We apologize for any frustration this has caused and hope this was helpful to you.

Decent with major flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller two years ago and went through three of them before calling it quits. It’s a great controller except the left bumper broke on ALL three. Luckily, I had the geek squad protection plan and was able to replace them. As every other person with this issue has said, I do not mishandle my stuff. For as many people that I have seen complain, at some point the only common denominator is the build quality of the controller. Sadly, Microsoft has made no effort to fix it. How about, instead of using a piece of plastic as a spring maybe use...a spring!?!?

Love the controller but..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The left bumper keeps breaking. I've brought it back as I have geek squad protection and $20 beats buying a new controller each year, but it's annoying that Microsoft can't make a more durable product for the cost.

Keeps Breaking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve gone through 2 of these now and will be getting my third soon. Left bumper kept sticking one time and had bad joystick drift another. If not for the geek squad plan I’d give it 1 star.

Great controller, very poor quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is great, but I have had 3 of them because of button sticking, drift and buttons breaking randomly. RB literally detached from my controller
