GREATEST THING EVER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is worth every penny! The paddles will take some time to get used to them, but they are amazing! The feel/balance for this controller is flawless. The rubbery skin makes it feel like heaven. Highly recommend! XBOX really hit it out of the park with this one!

Poor warranty and not as durable as it should be
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For those who enjoy a high-end and fancy controller, this elite controller certainly works. But there is too many problems in it and I can't believe Microsoft only gives it 90 days warranty. I trusted Microsoft's advertisement and believed that they really carefully designed it for long time usable and durability. But at least mine didn't. After half of an year's very light usable (actually I'm a PC gamer so I rarely use controllers). The right thumb stick of my elite controller drifts towards right when it is not being pushed. And I thought this would be a rare situation or at least Microsoft as a reputable company would provide a solid warranty (Logitech for example provides two or three years warranty for their high end mouse). But this controller that costs 100 dollars more than normal only has 90 days warranty! And after a little online search, I find that tons of people have the exact same problem with this elite controller and they either have to pay the return shipping if it is within a warranty or just give up if its out of 90 days. This is ridiculous.

Very disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this Elite Xbox one controller not long ago only last me about a week, keep going off on me every 15 minutes cause suppose the battery is low when even I replace with a brand new one three times!!!, also the joystick broke too so for a $150 controller is not worth it very disappointed....

not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time we bought this, nine months in the right bumper came off and broke apart inside. We bought a new one, not even 3 months ago, and the right bumper has already broken off and done the same thing. For the $150 we have to spend to get this controller, it shouldn't be breaking after 3 months.

Both Joysticks Failed. Buy 3rd Party
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller was okay at the beginning and definitely took some getting used to while holding it. Around the 8 month mark (moderate gaming) the left joystick began having issues and was shifting inside the controller. This began getting worse as time went on and around the 12 month mark both joysticks failed and move around in the housing. They travel farther up and down than if you actually were pushing the sticks in as a button. Something is clearly broken inside and was poorly manufactured. I called support and after 45 minutes ont he phone they tell me I am 2 months OUT of warranty and I should have called sooner. To quote the Microsoft service rep, "well, at least you got a year out of it." Xbox just lost a customer because of this.

BEST CONTROLLER EVER!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting for a fully customizable controller for over 2 decades. The XB1 Elite Controller allows most buttons (minus guide/start) to be remapped in the downloadable app from Microsoft store (easy to do). I enjoy kicking my friends butt... even with my physical handicap!!! With past controllers and not having the full ability to use my undeveloped left arm/hand, I had to throw grenades (left trigger) by tilting the controller onto my left knee. The left bumper is useless for me aswell. But... both these buttons have been remapped to the paddles on the right underneath the controller. WOW! What a huge difference. Very pleased with the quality and build of this controller. This is a must for all handicapable people out there! Thanks Microsoft. (:

Constantly breaks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely loved this controller for the advantages it gave me in gaming. Took some time to get used to but ultimately is a game changer. Shortly after I purchased my first one within the first three months pieces started breaking. Mainly the left bumper and joy sticks. I have now purchased and returned 12 of them over the years. Even when I would have brand new ones sent from Best Buy they would also show up broken(two times this occurred). It is a great controller for a gamer that doesn’t play often( it shouldn’t fall apart) but if you do or are in the competitive scene I would not suggest this controller. P.s. they discontinued this controller, and have the 2.0 coming out in November 4th 2019 hopefully this will preform better; and be more durable since they are increasing the prices as well!
