Do not buy without a protection plan
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this controller mainly for Rocket League on PC. After exactly 1 year of owning my SECOND elite controller, today it has died on me again, for good. I can no longer plug it in to play on PC because the USB slot on the controller must be worn out, and therefore the controller doesn't turn on. I'm pretty sure that it would still work if I used it on xbox with batteries, but I do not play on trash console when i have a computer worth more than your car. The grips on the back loosen up and begin to start falling off of the controller as well. I don't even have sweaty hands, I just play with a tight grip. My first elite controller died from similar issues. Unfortunately, I did not buy the geek squad protection on either of my elite controllers, so now I am stuck spending another $150 dollars on my third controller. Thanks Microsoft.

Not useful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this with 50.00$ off when I bought my XBOX. I tried it for over a week. I spent more time accidentally hitting the paddles or taking them off to avoid hitting them than I did using the controller. It's also pretty heavy which is a killjoy for long gaming sessions imo I prefer the standard XBOX controller

Drifting is not a good term for controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own two elite controllers, one I bought alone and one I bought with a One X bundle. I own 6-7 other controllers ( 8 person coop games) and pretty much everything Xbox. I figure with a price tag like these the controllers would be top notch. After a couple months the sticks drift, making your chracter, or your menus just move on their own... Let me tell you how annoying this is. ITS BAD A simple fix for this was changing the range in the settings...I did that and it fixed it for a few more months.. Now the drift is so bad the settings dont fix the problem. When I pay 150$+ for a controller... this is unacceptable.

Awesome controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is everything the reviews say it is. Feels heavier and more premium than a normal one. The grips are great. Takes some getting used to, went with two paddles for now and got an instant improvement. The extra sticks and trigger locks are great and the customization in the app is very easy

Great controller, weak thumb stick design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you buy this or the elite 2, get the protection. We bought three (2 elite, 1 elite 2). Elite have all failed, 2 we bought plus one replacement. This is not an isolated problem... Microsoft is facing class action litigation for this..

I Love It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I happened to find this sold out item at my local best buy yesterday and snatched it up. I tried it last night and I love it. The quality and presentation of the product rivals that of Bose, the design is solid and modern, the improvements work and are functional. For example... the under side levers... they are metal and they attach magnetically just like the joysticks. The trigger pull limits require just the flip of a solid switch on the underside of the controller. The software on the XBox for it works seamlessly. The whole thing is perfect in my opinion. Best controller I've ever used. I just hope nobody else buys it because I felt last night like I was cheating a little with the taller sticks and I added one extra button on the underside for Battle front. One thing you may not realize by the marketing info online... the underside levers are removable... all you do is pull them back gently until the magnet lets go. They are not at risk of falling off during use however, the design is ingenious.
