Great gamer controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great before it broke apart. The rubber comes off easy.

Nice, but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the controller a year now and the rubber backing has begun to peel off. Loved the controller until now... I am not rough on it, but it just started falling off. I would have hoped to get a longer life out of the controller. Kind of frustrating.

Not a fan of this controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything about the controller seemed great, til I realized you can’t set it down. If you set it down on something that isn’t the carrying case, 9 times out of 10 it will click the back pads & it’s just honestly not worth the price of the controller.

Posted .Hey Nate,
We're sorry to hear that you're not a fan of your new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. Hopefully we can offer some helpful advice to turn that around. If the back paddles are getting in the way, you have two options: remove them or lock them. For information on how to "lock" the back paddles, go here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/how-to-lock-paddles-elite-controller
Hope that helps,
Chuck

Too costly considering the build quality
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned 3 of these and am glad I elected for the extended warranty each time. The grips delaminated and and my elite controller got the drift issue commonly seen with 1st gen. Let's hope 2nd gen is more solidly built.

Well worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this controller day 1 and I am very happy I did. I have had problems in the past with breaking the thumbsticks off of my default controllers. I am very heavy handed when it comes to playing and the sticks just wear through until they eventually break off. this got very expensive! The elite controller's thumbsticks are stainless steel and will not break off. (unless you take them off) but there is no wearing out. The overall versatility of this controller is great. multiple re-mapping profiles for different games is awesome and can be changes in a matter of seconds. comparable controllers go for double the price and in my opinion are not of the same level of quality as this one. i would highly recommend this controller for anyone who has a need for that competitive edge.

Okay controller

Great when it works, but awul build quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is fantastic, before it breaks. Less than a year in and my micro usb port is totally shot, meaning my only connectivity option is laggy wireless. Not ideal for FPS games - I bought this product to get an edge up on the competition! I am always careful with my electronics, so I opted not to buy Best Buy's extended warranty. The port wore out just from plugging and unplugging - normal use. Microsoft's 90 day warranty is a total joke. If you buy it, you MUST get the extended warranty. You're going to break something on it, it might not be your fault, and you'll be hosed otherwise.

Great controller while it lasts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller itself is excellent. The rubber coating feels very comfortable, the paddles are easy to use and you can customize it anyway you want. The problem is the reliability. My first one lasted 2 months before the headset port stopped working. I was able to get a replacement under warranty but that one only made it a little over a month before the mini USB port stopped working and I can't use it with a cord or charge the battery. Definitely expected more considering the thing costs half as much as the entire console with a regular controller. If you get one get an extended warranty or hope you have better luck.

It's ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The buttons on the bottom are nice. But the left bumper keeps getting stuck and apparently that is not a new thing a lot of people have been having this issue. And the connection to the Xbox seems to be not as strong as a normal controller. And no Bluetooth...

Worth the Money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is definitely a setup from the basic controller. Everything about it better. It's slightly heavier, but not too heavy to feel awkward. The sticks are smoother and spring back with more authority. I love the customizations available. I'm still rocking the stock thumb sticks, but have tried the others. The only real complaint I have is that for this price, a rechargeable battery should have been included.

Not Worth It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Broke after 90 days. Microsoft refused to repair it. One of the triggers came loose. The right analog sticks always pop off during games. The rubber grips came undone. Stick to 3rd party controllers. Better quality and better customer service.

Not worth the extra dollars
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While a solid controller and interesting setup, the value really isn't there for the price which is three times that of a regular XB1 controller. It functions well but is frustrating at times with the paddles being pseudo functional/beneficial.

I love the customization!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can customize this controller in so many ways. I love the weight and the feel in general of it. I used my elite controller for about two weeks then I tried using a regular xbox one controller on a different console and I couldn't get used to it, it didn't feel as nice as the elite controller.

Just awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first customizable controller and I am very happy with it. First, right out of the box you can feel the added weight. It simply feels heftier and sturdier than a standard controller. With the rear paddles and darn near every button on the thing having the ability to be re-mapped, you can come up with nearly any setup under the sun. The stops on the triggers are nice as well. I only with the carrying case was a little more presentation quality. It serves its purpose, but still. FYI, the controller will not fit a standard charging stand because the battery back is different. However, it is only the outer tabs. I cut the tabs of my Nyko battery cover, leaving the middle tab and it fits perfectly. The controller also fits fine on the stand with the rear paddles removed.
