This controller is perfect if you are serious about gaming! You can customize the buttons and it's really great. It takes a little while to get used to switching buttons while played by. But, it's worth it when your gaming improves.

I love this controller. I am no professional gamer, but I love the feel and the weight of this thing. The paddles are a little tricky at first, but once you master them they are a definite improvement in maneuvering through the game.

Sure, it's spendy, but this controller and all its customization options justify the price. Simply being able to move joystick clicks to the rear paddles makes this controller necessary for anyone serious about first person shooters.

Was on the fence on buying this for a long time, finally did and I wish I would have done it sooner. I mainly use it for APEX legends and love the paddles for quick firing d pad options without taking thumbs off sticks. There is a learning curve of using paddles since you have to hold controller a little different, but it only took a day for me to adjust my grip. Build and finish are so much better than stock controller. Recommend buying.

This controller is so amazing!!! I have been using this for Forza 6 and Halo 5 and this is really really awesome!! I know that this controller is expensive, but it is worth it.

Holy moly this controller is awesome! I bought this open box and it came with everything I needed. If you like scuff controllers then this is the controller for you! Even better than scuff. You can customize it to anyway you want!

I recently owned a Scuf controller, but it broke within a year, leaving me disappointed and wanting a better product. I decided to purchase the Xbox Elite controller as a replacement. This product is much sturdier and I like how it can be customized to your preference (with the option to continue making adjustments because all customizable pieces are included). The only downside is that the paddles sit a little low compared to what I am used to. However, I highly recommend this controller.

I'll start by saying this (not to brag)...price was not a factor when I decided to purchase this. I'd read a number of reviews that said how much it improved players' games, changed they way they played...blah blah blah. That didn't happen to me....but it's still an AWESOME controller. The grip and weight of the controller feel premium, you can remap the buttons and save mappings for different games, and you can even swap out the D-Pad, and thumbsticks. Altogether, that means this is probably the best X-Box One and PC controller out there. Having said that, is it worth $150? Well, that depends on what you think value is. Me? No regrets....

Bought this as a gift for my husband and he is in love with it. The D pad is so much easier to use. It took him a while to get used to the paddles but he says overall it's so much more comfortable than the original controllers.

I love this controller and all the configurations you can program along with the sticks and paddles. The way you can map your buttons and adjust the sensitivity of your sticks is awesome. Trigger sensitivity and locks perfect your firepower. You can have two saved configurations on your controller and change with just flip of a switch. Has great balance and feel. I have two of them for when I have guests over who want to play. Every time they use them they're like "man, I gotta get one of these". The only complaint I hear is the cost. "$150 is kinda steep". Of course I advocate and tell them about other custom controllers like Scuf that cost even more. However this controller has an Achilles heel, the rubber grips on the underside of the controller. Much to soon in my opinion, the grips start to bubble, becomes unglued and starts to peel and come off the controller. Once this starts the controller becomes uncomfortable to use and sometimes leaves gummy residue on the inside of your fingers. Luckily Best Buy lets you exchange them with the geek squad plan when this becomes a problem. I've been told that this a common issue with this controller. If the folks at Xbox could redesign and improve the grips on this controller it would be perfect. The Scufs have a better grip system on their controllers and if Xbox could get it like the Scufs are, it would make it the best controller for the money on the market. I consider myself to be a moderate player, putting in about 1-10 hours a week game time. My hands do get a little sweaty during some intense sessions but I doubt that is abnormal. If your like me, this is the controller you want for the money. If your a pro putting in 20 plus hours a week then paying for the more expensive controllers make sense.

This controller has what a gamer needs plus extra accessories. Constructed with high quality material to withstand long game playing.

I was blown away by how well-made and sturdy this controller is. I was skeptical as to how the magnetically connected thumbsticks and d-pad would function and I quickly realized I had nothing to worry about. The grip is also a great feature, something I never really knew I could benefit from. The controller and all that's included in your purchase (storage bag, varying thumbsticks, controller cable, etc) are quality products which makes this package entirely worth it for someone who games frequently.

Best controller I've purchased. Price is a little too high but well worth it. Lots of costomizable options for the avid gamer.

this a great controller for the price! this is like a scuff controller but its first party and made really well from microsoft. entry level scuff controllers start at the xbox price, but you get more with the xbox controller.

My husband bought an X-Box and, of course, had to have a new controller to go with it. This is the one HE wanted, he loves it. He's happy with it... I am indifferent. I am sure that it is great if you are into video games.

I love the feel of this controller. It feels "elite", everything feels smooth and snappy. You can make so many changes to this controller that you can truly find how you want to play. The extra paddles can easily substitute for the LB/RB (or any button for that matteR) for certain games, giving you that slight time advantage of never letting go of the trigger. However, they take a bit to get used to, especially when trying to not bump them. Setting the controller with paddles down on anything plush will result in one of them being pushed, possibly throwing a grenade when all you needed to do is set it down and answer the door. Also having different thumb sticks makes for an easier controller, especially if you have long thumbs and want to use the taller stick. I can't handle trying to use all 4 paddles as there is not enough hand grip remaining for my meatpaws to hold onto the controller and not constantly bump a paddle. Otherwise, it is a really nice controller.

Paddles may take you a few playing sessions to get used to but a fantastic controller for any hardcore gamer. Allows you to make your own control scheme for any game. Can't see myself using another basic controller again.

I've own multiple controllers but nothing beats this one you can customize it to you're liking hands down if you need one controller this is the one to the feel n greatness u knw u hav in youre hands. Great job Microsoft

It feels like a much better controller than the original with the added grips. The interchangeable parts includes two different d-pads, 3 different height thumb stick pairs, and four back paddles that act as the four front buttons if you ever needed to use one of the buttons and the right stick at the same time. You can even customize your controls through the Xbox Accessories app. This gives you so many options on how you want to play your games and can allow you to improve your skills.

I was skeptical on this control at first and on a whim during the holiday return policy o purchased it. Being a big gamer the customization seemed like an awesome idea. IT TRULY IS! You can customize every button to do what you want it to do. You can change the sensitivity on the triggers and joysticks so that minimal movement is the same as a full press. You can play any game the way you want to play. It's incredibly easy to customize through the app on the Xbox one. The additional paddles on the back are perfect for racing games and even better for shooters (map melee and grenades so your fingers never leave the triggers). Overall the build is amazing, it's got a weight to it. Hands down if you play video games at all this controller is worth checking out.
