I'd actually give this a 4.5, but that's not an option so I'll give it 5. Pros: Love the look and feel of the controller. Very sturdy Easy to interchange the sticks, d-pad and paddles Easy to use App on the Xbox One to customize your layouts Cons: Battery hog. I used the controller with batteries that came with it and plugged my wireless headphones. 6 hours later of straight use and my controller was almost out of juice. Lack of rechargeable battery pack. Should have been included or built to be used with the previous Play & Charge kits. Paddles feel a little loose to me. I'm only using two out of the four at the moment while playing Halo 5 (boost and crouch mapped to the paddles).

The basic controller that comes with a Xbox unit is a lot better which is worth $60, this one for $149.00, had to go back twice and replace for sticking keys, this third one sticking as well, don't waste your money

I bought my son a refurbished controller and it broke one day after using it. Luckly I was able to return it and get a brand new one for the same price because it was on sale that week. Be careful when buying refurbished items

This remote is the definition of customization. Everything is customizable. It is amazing the d-pads feels much stronger and springy. The4 back paddles are what I got this controller for. As a left hander it is much simpler and makes the reflex much faster. Highly recommended, if you take your games seriously and want to spend for it.

The features of this controller are amazing. The controller feel is great, it makes the standard controllers seem cheaply made. The button remapping and having the extra buttons is very helpful. I use the short trigger for shooter games and it help a lot. I do have a few complaints about the controller though. It is heavy compared to the standard controllers. The thumb sticks can be interchanged but the tops of each stick cannot be. They are 3 different lengths and the medium size one has a round top like a PS controller and I want that to be on the short stick. The cord for charging could be longer and should come with a rechargeable battery as well. I play Halo 5 a lot and using the short throw triggers when you use a weapon that needs to charged by holding down the fire button if the short throw trigger is on then it won't charge. I had to map one of the bottom paddles to right trigger button to be able to use charged weapons and still keep my short throw trigger. It is a lot of $ for a controller but it will make you a better player. It didn't take very long to get use to and I can tell the difference more each time I play and get better.

Hands down the best controller I've every used. It feels terrific in your hands, is perfectly weighted, and everything is customizable. Multiple thumbsticks, d-pads, trigger pull, and paddles on the bottom.

Just happened to stumble upon one of these in one my local best buy stores. I knew they were sold out almost everywhere and I thought why not. This controller is better then the original in so many ways. you just need to feel and use it to see. Only con is price seems like alot for a controller even a bad a** one.

My son hasn’t had this controller for 6 months and it keeps sticking. It’s been doing this for 3 months now. I spent way too much money on this for it not to last.

I literally hold this thing in my hand just to feel it. The weight is perfect, the rubberized exterior just feels fantastic. It controls like a dream like you'd expect - it's honestly just a great product. I use it on both the PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One, perfect in both cases.

Sucks...not worth the money. The controller has paddles on the back that are cumbersome and there are other controllers that are cheaper that feel and react better.

    Great, but has issues

I really want to give this a 5 star review, but there are some things holding it back for me. First, I'm disappointed that it doesn't come with a rechargeable battery. It's 2016 and this is $150 so it was shocking that it wasn't included. Second, one of the foam inserts in the case is loose and I think it should be glued down like the other one. Also, the foam insert doesn't hold the faceted d-pad securely so it just rolls around in the case. My biggest complaint with the controller is the obscene loudness of the trigger rumble motors. They are so loud at their default setting that you can hear them even when wearing headphones. You are meant to feel vibrations not hear the motor. There clearly needs to be more dampening material around the motors or some parts are to loose. I have turned down the motor strength, but that is not an ideal solution. My second biggest complaint is with the software on PC. The Xbox Accessories app lets you remap existing buttons to other buttons. This is nice, but what every PC gamer really wants is the ability to map new functions to the buttons. If you could do that then it would be the best controller for PC bar none. It's also slightly disappointing that the separate wireless adapter being sold doesn't work with the new Steam Link. My third biggest complaint is the paddles. I have tried using the bottom paddles in many different games and different configurations. However, I've come to the conclusion that it's better to play without them. The reason is because they are so big and so easy to press that you accidentally press them all the time. They also force you to hold the controller in a way that is not comfortable or ideal. When you're using them you can't wrap your hands around the bottom of the controller. I think these paddles would be better if they were actually small buttons that require more force to actuate. Now for some recommendations. I think it would be really cool and nostalgic if you could make the guide button turn green. I also think that the rubber dome based ABXY buttons are way out of date. I think the most used buttons should be mechanical like Cherry MX or Omron. It would also be nice if some of the buttons were backlit.
