Great controller Software needs work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the controller, very smooth all the adjustments are awesome. But the Software to map the buttons can only do so much. the back panel triggers can only duplicate other buttons on the controller. They are not their own free buttons. For Console games this makes sense because there is only so many actions you can perform, but for the PC I would like to be able to use the controller for other games that have many more keys. I would like to map the controller to my keyboard, but the four extra triggers on the back can only mimic other buttons on the controller. so you would have 2 B buttons, or A or D-Pad left. I want them to be their own buttons. I got it for PC gaming. that is why I am giving it a 4.

Best controller ever made
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this controller to help with my wrist problems, it makes it much easier on the hands to play. The added weight and grip are welcome, and make holding the controller a dream. It seems pretty well built, and has stood up to as much abuse as I could throw at it (though I am always careful to not drop or toss controllers around).

Nice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is amazing. The paddles take a day or two to get use to, but once you do you find yourself playing much faster.

My expensive game changer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a pricey investment, but if you're a hardcore FPS gamer (Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield, or Battlefront) you'll love this controller. You can substitute the paddles underneath the controller for any button, so your thumbs never leave the analog sticks. There will be a learning curve and adjustment period to the paddles. When you first use this controller you will accidentally hit the wrong paddle or spaz out under pressure, but once you get the hang of it, you will have the advantage of being able to run, jump, turn and aim simultaneously. Also comes with 2 other sets of analog sticks with different heights so you can customize to your comfort and finesse. The controller has a velvety surface, so if you have sweaty hands it won't slip. The construction is top notch, and has a nice weight to it. When you connect to your Xbox One, you can adjust everything from sensitivity of the sticks to rumble strength, to deadzones for the triggers, which means you can have a shorter trigger pull. The controller also has a trigger lock for shortening the trigger pull depths physically. The swappable D-pad comes with 2 designs. The standard cross design, as well as the rounded smooth pad (for fighting games). Included in the box is a braided USB cable. This is important. The wired connection will shave a few milliseconds off your response time, and will also allow you to play w/o batteries. No more looking for replacement batteries mid-match. Only downside is the price. $150 is not cheap. I would recommend this for serious gamers only, who are willing to put in the time and effort to adjust to the underside paddles. I have a friend who bought this controller but got frustrated by the paddles within a day so he took them off. If you are like him, there are other controllers on the market that are upgrades from the default controller and do not cost as much.

Simply can't be beat
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing was created for pro gamers so no cost was spared. It feels way nicer in your hands and the material is just great. Pros: Hairpin trigger locks increase fire rate, good for small advantages Comes with travel case, interchangeable accessories all highest quality, batteries. Included usb cable. Cons: Price can seem unreasonable to some people but it really does give you a gaming advantage and was built of the highest quality. No rechargeable pack. Much heavier.

Great controller that feels premium
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As many many reviewers have already stated, this controller really feels like it's worth $150. The xbox one standard controller is already one of the most comfortable controllers ever, and now the elite comes along and blows even that out of the water. I've been using it for both competitive and casual gaming on the Xbox one and PC, and it's fantastic. It has a nice weight to it, and all of the buttons have a nice click to them.

Expensive but worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you play hundreds or thousands of hours of video games, this controller is the next step up for you. I got mine release day and I honestly cannot go back to a regular xbox controller now. Everything about it is simply amazing; the materials are all top notch, it just fells like high quality in your hands. As you get used to using the paddles, it makes gaming a more enjoyable experience. I am able to use all my fingers now, and I don't have to take my thumb off the joystick to hit any other buttons!!! If you're really in to gaming, this controller is absolutely amazing. If you're a casual gamer, it might not be the easiest thing to use, but I would still recommend it if you have the money. It's amazing. I have a second one as a backup just in case the first one breaks, but I've logged 1500+ hours already and it's still going strong!!!

The only way to game for me now
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To keep it concise, if you are looking for a high quality, customizable, professional-grade controller, look no further. There is not a single controller on the market that compares in build quality that is $150 or less. The buttons are more responsive and durable, there is ruberized grip on the back, the sticks can be changed out, and the omni-direction pad is fantastic. Going back to a regular controller feels like a waste after using the elite controller. I personally don't care for the snap-on auxiliary buttons that come with it, but if you are looking for a competitive edge, they are provided. (Make sure to get the Geek Squad Protection, I accidentally spilled soda all over it but got it replaced, def saved me $150!)

Awesome controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is very well put together and feels perfect in your hands. The paddle placement is perfect and works very fluid with minimal effort to use them. I have used Scuf controllers (both the Scuf One & Infinity) and this controller is hands down superior. You can really tell this is not a modded 3rd party controller, the quality is top notch.

Worth the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It just feels like quality - has a good weight to it and the manufacturing seems very solid. Only minor gripe is that the paddles stop working when the batteries are low.

Really Makes FPS easier.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it took a while to get used to the paddles on the back, once you do you will never go back. The controller just feels better made and Love that it comes with multiple different sticks to use. While I have never used a Scuf, I know that to get a scuf to do everything this controller can do it would cost $200+.
