With my Day One controller falling apart, I decided I needed a new controller. With large amount of customization features available, the Elite Controller is a great option for those who like to fine tune everything. The added paddles on the back were extremely helpful for games like The Division or Forza Motorsports, allowing you to hotkey certain buttons in a more easy to access way. I would recommend purchasing a protection plan, however. The first one I purchased(from one of the first runs), ran into a few small issues, mainly with the joysticks. While they didn't affect functionality, it was less than satisfactory of a controller at this price point.

The trigger stop on the right side broke after about a month of playing Black Ops 3. I do play a lot but that doesn't seem right. I did purchase the two year replacement warranty(I suggest you do the same!)so, I am going to exchange it for another one. Other than that the controller has been great. It feels really nice and it lived up to my expectations until the stop broke.

The controller is very easy to customize with the magnetic thumbsticks, and paddles. The xbox one button remapping app is easy to use, and there are different controller layouts for certain games. This is an improvement over the original xbox one controller. I still feel like the 360 controller had a more natural feel, but overall the elite is great.

Finally a controller available that is affordable and solid. When you hold this controller after using the stock Xbox One controller you will know exactly what i mean. Hands down the best quality accessory ever released by Microsoft! They did an excellent job with this.

The mere fact that the controller is programmable is what pulled me in. But that is not the only reason to buy this controller. The four additional control buttons, paddles, provides configurations that console controllers have never had. I am able to set up schemes for games that were clumsy on a standard controller. I have always hated using a controller to operate racing games. But with the setup the elite controller makes possible, my performance in Forza 6 greatly increased! The quality is very obvious. The performance is unmatched by any controller out there. If you love gaming you need to experience this device! If you like to use a chatpad on your controller you should be aware that the Nyco pad doesn't fit the elite controller. It blocks two of the paddles. The Microsoft chatpad works beautifully. It's obvious it was built to work with the elite controller. It is a JOY to use the Elite controller! Get it!

Just ordered my second controller, not by choice however. I got my first controller, used, from Amazon, sold by Amazon. It was to replace my standard controller that had the infamous loose thumbstick issue. Immaculate, nothing wrong with it when I received it and promptly put many hours on it. Took a little while to learn, but the pros of having the extra buttons means that the regular buttons ("A" and "B" in my case) still worked... meaning if you made a mistake and jumped using "A", it still did what you wanted it to. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago, and I noticed my right thumbstick was loose... and it quickly got worse. to the point where it is nearly unplayable. Microsoft only has a 90 day warranty on this thing. I still very highly recommend this controller for the flexibility it offers, but get a open-box one from Best Buy and use the savings to purchase their 2-year replacement warranty!

The Xbox one has an app to remap the buttons configured specifically for a certain game the way you like to play. The trigger locks are great for faster shooting and the paddles on the back make it so I never have to leave the right thumbstick

Feels good in your hand. Definitely premium quality all around. I too hesitated at first due to the price but in the end its the only controller ill use for the next 5 years (until next gen). There is no going back to the standard controller.

Makes the other Xbone controller look plain in comparison. Sure the others have good design but this controller have great performance and I do enjoy mapping out the extra buttons and panels to my liking for whatever game I play!

Swappable thumbsticks, paddles and D-pad options. Magnets to bind them all together, molded foam carrying case, and a 9 foot braided charge cable to boot. This product is well worth your money for any avid gamer.

Feels great in your hands, it's comfortable and feels sturdy. Tons of options to tweak to you liking. The price my be an obstacle for some, but if it isn't an issue for you, I see no reason not to grab one.

I don't know if it's worth the money to you (to me it is), but there is no debate that this isn't a great feeling controller. You'll agree with me once you've held it for about 5 seconds.

Great controller! The sticks are smooth as butter and the paddles make reaction time so much faster!

I love the triggers on the buttom of the controller. i so used to them that its hard to go back the the regular ones. Just need accessories and it would be the best one out there.

The endless customization options make it easy to tailor the controller to each game you play. The build quality is remarkable and makes standard controllers feel cheap.

I love this controller, I refuse to use my other controller. It feels amazing. I'm so glad to get it in the bundle with my xbox.

A little pricy as to a controller. But as people pay a lot for mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse, why not for a good controller. This one feels solid in hand with right weight and texture. The paddle at back are versatile for some game while you need to customized experience. The only complain is about the macro option, which lacks in this controller. If added, the controller will be perfect in my opinion.

THIS CONTROLLER IS THE BEST CONTROLLER I HAVE EVER USED IN MY LIFE!!! A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN SCUFF AND HALF THE PRICE!!!!

I've had this controller since November of 2015. Extremely well built. This is a great product for any xbox one gamer.

This controller should be the standard in the 9th generation video game wars.
