Loved this controller. Much better than Elite 2, I really dislike the fact the Elite 2 cannot have its batteries changed. Everyone knows rechargeable batteries eventually die

This controller is VERY customizable, you can map any of the buttons to your desires. The controller remembers two profiles at a time but in the mapping menu you can save a lot more profiles to quickly save to the controller. I don't have any complaints about this controller.

Buying a Xbox Elite controller may seem like a steep investment for a game console, but consider this - the Xbox elite controller is more durable, aesthetically pleasing, and more function then the regular controller. One of the best features are that the joysticks are interchangeable metal thumbsticks. In total there are 6 of them: one regular, one larger, and one without an indentation. I like having one large one for my left hand and a regular one for my right hand joystick. With plastic parts, there is this residue that becomes apparent after use. This is not the case for the elite controller. What this means is that your controller is more durable.the Elite controller also just simply feels better in the hand. It is the perfect weight and shape for an adult hand. Yes, it may be pricey; however, depending on how much you play, this investment can/will pay for itself. I bought one for me and one for my girlfriend.

It's perfect! Take away the easily programmable and adjustable paddles (which are amazing) and this controller is still worth the price. I really can't explain it, it makes the original controller feel like a cheap aftermarket piece of garbage.

This controller is pretty amazing, the sensibility on the triggers and the thumbsticks is excelent, also the configurations are pretty good, is heavier than the regular one, and for me it's a good thing feels more natural.

Ultimate controller! Great response and sturdier feel than any xbox or aftermarket controller. I love the additional paddle controllers and customizable buttons and joysticks! Absolutely the best controller made for Xbox one.

PROS 1. It comes with everything you'll need in a carry case including batteries 2. Button mapping is easy to set and can be for the thumbsticks you click in or triggers you hold 3. There are four preloaded thumbstick sensitivity curve types to set and adjust 4. All three thumbstick sets glide smooth with the shell not grinding it. And the long type is way more accurate in sniping games 5. It has two different D-Pads one is good for quarter combo moves 6. The triggers have a deadzone tuning for a quicker or slower timing reaction every time you pull it 7. You can make the trigger and sticks swap sides when button mapping 8. The vibration can be adjusted for any motor and sets with the configuration you make 9. The Guide button brightness adjusting sets with the configuration you make CONS 1. A analog stick in the controller can get loose and start drifting even though it's never been dropped 2. There isn't a real good grip on the convex thumbstick set like the other two sets 3. You can't combo button map to any button, trigger or thumbstick 4. You can't mirror map one trigger to the other trigger but can with thumbsticks 5. While setting your triggers deadzone the trigger doesn't vibrate to make it accurate 6. You can only invert the y axis of the thumbstick and not the x axis 7. There is no inner or outer deadzone settings for the thumbsticks to set like the triggers have 8. There is no x and y axis thumbstick sensitivity to adjust separately 9. You can't make your own thumbstick sensitivity curves and can only choose the preloaded ones

I consider the regular Xbox One controller to be near perfect. The Elite controller is absolute perfection. The paddles on the back could take some getting used to, but once you're accustomed to them, it's hard to use a controller that doesn't have them. Being able to adjust stick sensitivity, adjust trigger stops, and play with button mapping sets this apart from all other controllers. Until an Elite V.2 . is released, this controller is the G.O.A.T!

And completely worth it, while 150 might seem expensive which it is this is the best controller I have ever used and if you play games as much as I do it might be worth it

This controller isn't going to make you a better player, but it will make how you play better. I use the Recon layout in Halo and this lets me aim & jump at the same time now which has improved my game play. My biggest complaint is the left bumper broke a couple days after the return period was up. I'm still dealing with Microsoft to get it replaced. I ended up buying a second elite controller and had the same left bumper issue on the last day of the return period. Best Buy swapped that one out and it's been fine since. If you get this controller it's well worth the extended warranty. It'll pay for itself the moment one of the bumpers breaks which seems to be a common issue with them. This is the reason I took one star off.

This is perfect controller for people who are hard core gamer. Definitely will recommend to my friends. cons: To expensive. it is not for everybody though.

This controller is perfect if you have the cash to spend and feel that mapping buttons is for you. Pricey but worth it if you have the cash to burn. Lots of customization and the battery life is good.

Ok, so I wanted to give this a 5 star review because it's a great controller and a great idea by Microsoft. I loved it at first, it really helped me in fps games and I liked the heavy, sturdy feel of it, the interchangeable thumb sticks and d-pad and the trigger locks are great. I did by the protection plan because I read the reviews here and the 1 star ones said they have defects and break. 5 days into playing around 4-8 hours a day, the left stick has become loose in its socket and with force applied to the upper left section it gets stuck in that position and I have to push it back in. It's really annoying that I now have a $150 paperweight. I called geek squad and the nice lady told me to bring it to my nearest bestbuy store and they would be happy to replace it. Going to find out if they are " so happy to replace it" tonight.

Great controller, I heard a lot of bad things about it but I am having a great experience with it. Great controller for CoD, Halo, and Gears of War.

Went out and bought a 2nd one its so nice expensive but worth every penny if you can afford buy everything on this controller can be adjusted

The controller quality is nice. This was an open box item but the condition turned out to be as good as new. As far as the controller goes, the paddles are actually hard to get used to.
