The controller itself lived up to my expectations, but...it only lasted so long. After about 6 months worth of casual FPS gaming (3 hours a day) the drift began....stick drift...which will kill your walls because you want to punch, throw, or all the above at once with the controller but you wont bc its 150$. there is truely no fix except for a warranty with little to no direction through MS, so buy the warranty via best buy to have an easy replacement,

This is a beefy well put together controller. Love it. Easy to configure. Well worth the money.

Just like summary says best controller ever i cam completely map o it my controller as needed. It feels like real quality. I can tell a difference in performance while using it if your a hardcore gamer this is a must-have. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants an edge absolutely love it and at time of purchase i bought the astro a50 headset leathal combination really happy with my purchase

I've gone through 3 of these controllers already. I have the geek squad protection plan which allows me to replace and renew the protection plan but does cost $20 everytime I renew the plan. My main issue is the grips of the controller peel off very frequently and seems to be the main issue I see around. Otherwise the trigger stops and buttons feel great.

it's expensive, but by far the highest quality console controller i've ever used.

This is a great controller but does seem to develop stick drift so I highly recommend getting the Protection plan.

I was an Xbox One Day One member. When I heard of the Elite Controller, I knew I was interested, but $150 seemed a little too expensive for me. Luckily, Best Buy had an open box of it in excellent condition for $120 that I jumped on, and I'm glad that I did. This controller is certainly "elite". An upgrade in every way over the original. I recommend this product to any Xbox One gamer!

It is a great controller. Definitely a must have for the above average gamer.

I purchased one of the controllers in Mid 2016 and it began to fail in mid 2017. First the mic jack broke I could hear, but no one could hear me. Then no sound to headphones at all. The only way to rectify this was to either buy the adapter for Xbox controllers that came out with Xbox one because they didn't even have a headphone jack or buy a replacement part and fix it myself. This would be easy if this was a ps controller, I could just use my Bluetooth headphones. For some reason Xbox cant make a product like it's 201?. Then the grips came off. My two other regular Xbox controllers just stopped recognizing button presses after a while and my spec ops controller's USB jack broke. This 1 year might be good for an Xbox controller, but not good for a controller, let alone one that costs $150.00 with a sad, pathetic warranty. I say don't buy unless for some reason you need button remapping, which is why I bought it.

This control exceeded all expectations. I DID purchase an extra warranty. A side note though, the pieces are magnetic, and therefore VERY easy to lose/misplace. As long as you keep them in order and in sight, you should be good to go. The comfort of the controller is above par, and the glide and accuracy with the joystick is wonderful. I love this controller!

You will have to get use to gripping it a little easier but once you get the hang of it it is awesome.

This controller does everything extra you could think of!

Bought this controller for my husband who absolutely loves it. He loves being able to customize the functionality of each button, which allows him to switch seamlessly between first-person shooting games. We were going to buy another one for me, but the controller is a little on the heavy side and big in my hands, so I stuck with the standard controller. Another downside is that it is not offered as a wireless option.

Hands down one of the best controllers Ive ever played on.

Got stick drift and the back of the grips split at the seam

It is a great controller and I like that the thumbsticks can be change. I am glad that I read the reviews of people saying to get the insurance for the controller because 3 months in and the right bumper already broke. I take good care of my things, it's just that the controller isn't made of better material. If you buy this controller, make sure you get the insurance.
