This controller is a bit expensive (at more than double the price of a standard Xbox One controller), but the quality is absolutely worth it. In addition to the higher quality components, it comes with additional configurable paddle buttons and swappable stick grips and d-pad.

I'm an older gamer. Moved to console from exclusive PC gaming. This has finally closed the gap in terms of performance. If you are a regular gamer and you care at all about your performance...this is a must have. It's taken me awhile to relearn how to use the custom paddles, but now it makes a huge difference in PVE and PvP environments. Git it! Worthy of Note: This is one of the only things I would ever recommend getting a protection plan on. Protection plans make money...otherwise they wouldn't offer them. ;-) But I have many friends who have the elite controller and have had pieces break. Even nice guys rage quit sometimes! So, I would recommend it. Its an easy replacement if yours ceases functioning.

I've used multiple controllers for Xbox and this is by far THE BEST one. I love the weight of the controller and the button mapping is simple and works wonders for games. 4 Stars because both me and my friend had the LB Button break and nearly fall out. But the returns through Microsoft went flawless and had a new one in a week.

I have yet to actually use mine for game play but you notice the difference as soon as you pick it up .Heavier and feels better built. The customize should be a real treat and the different sticks etc really seem to play to your advantage when setting up for feel and comfort.

I bought this thinking it was gonna be a game changer.. instead for me its just another controller. I’ve used a normal control for way too long, that my brain/hands were too dumb to integrate the paddles. Luckily they are easy to remove. The control does feel slightly better than a normal controller.

I don’t find myself using the added paddles, but the controller itself is worth it when comparing to the standard controller. Reasons: 1) being able to adjust trigger sensitivity giving you the ability to respond quicker 2) Comfort, it’s just a lot more comfortable in your hand 3) d pad is way better That’s just some of the big ones but I’d definitely have at least one of these

This controller is very pricey however once you get use to it there is no other way to play.

Wow...... I was a bit sceptical after a hands on experience at comic con. However, after purchasing one "elite" controller, I was very satisfied with all the options and ease of change. Although, I revert both analogs back to the way the og controller is with the concave analogs but I do like the satellite D-pad. I have only used this with a hand full of action, rpgs, and racing games. Only complaint, price........
