Had been looking at this controller for the last year. Never seems to go on much of a sale. My reason for trying it was to have a Dad controller that the kids don't use. Tired of having a gummed up controller from all their grime. The controller takes some getting used to with the paddles underneath. I wont say it hurts, but you clearly need to adjust your grip or suffer through cramping. (Maybe I am just getting old.) They are easy to take off and I do this for some games. What I like most is it feels well made, sturdy, not plastic. I have never had a mechanical problem with standard Microsoft made XBOX controllers, but this does feel like a premium product. Have not used the profiles yet, but nice to know the option is there. I cannot say that my game play has improved, but no regrets on the purchase.

I must first say that this feels like a very well built controller. I especially like the extra paddles and trigger stops. This will be my go to controller from now on.

For the price it better be more robust, and it is. feels more solid in the hands and I for one like the paddles, if ONLY so I don't have to constantly jam my L thumb down all night to run in game. now I just pull on a paddle and run to my hearts content.

My son really likes this controller. He removed the buttons on bottom because he couldn't get use to them, and doesn't want to take the time to get use to them nor wants them to hender his games. Just yet. He likes the flexability in moving the analog sticks to make it more comfortable for every game he plays.

I bought my elite controller back in January 16'. I was highly impressed with the quality and control of the controller. I praised it while it worked. Then one day during normal casual use the left top bumper broke. After some research I learned that the top bumpers are made as a single piece out of cheap thin plastic. This is a highly common issue with the majority of people experiencing the breakage with in months. I only used my remote for online game play. Rest of the time I used a standard controller for single player and day to day use. My controller was spotless and hardly ever used during the 10 months I had it. Microsoft refuses to fix the issue if over 90 days old and I didn't buy the extended warranty. Even if I had, they may of replaced it once, but doubtfully over and over again. Which would be the case until the actual design is corrected. These top bumpers are made different than the standard controller which does not have the same design flaw. Don't waste your money

Weight and feel on this controller is amazing compared to regular version. Interchangeable parts and extra buttons with custom configuration allows for easier controls depending your game

After nearly a week of strenuous testing with Elder Scrolls Online (essentially the main reason for my purchase) I am only growing more fond of my purchase of the Xbox One Elite Controller. It is durable, highly customizable and programmable for an intimate, personal gaming experience tailored to fit your style. The longevity of the device is likely questionable at best, but worries about being stuck with a broken controller are negated by Best Buy's immaculate warranty. Summarily, I highly recommend this device for hardcore gamers who endure lengthy sessions and rely on layers of personalization to push their skill to its peak. It's a must have for serious gamers.

First off, this thing is pricey but worth it if you play a lot of shooters or racers. You can make your trigger pulls shorter just by flicking a switch. It also comes with 4 paddles that you can add to the back of the controller which can be linked to any button you want through the app on Xbox. The Elite controller comes with 3 choices for analog sticks, so just give em all a go and stick with what works for you. I recommend the tall one for precision aiming. If you drop the elite, it will seem like the end of the world because of all the little attachments that go flying everywhere but it should be fine because they're so well built. I highly recommend.

Very high quality controller for top-tier gaming. Although a bit on the pricey side, the customization is great for fine tuning and perfecting your gaming setup.

Though a little heavy, this controller is durable and sexy. The multiple features that you can change makes it great to use and customize for different games or just your basic preference.

The fine tuned controls, quick triggers and paddles make this controller a finely tuned weapon in the right hands. If you like competitive gaming you can't not get this. It is a must have!

Its a well built controller but a bit to expensive. It takes some getting use to the buttons on the back especially if your used to gripping your controller tight like I do. If your a hard core gamer then you would like this controller.

I love this controller. It’s able to be modified and tweaked in different ways that enhance your gaming experience. Price is a lil steep, but you are getting quality. And you can feel that quality in just the construction of the controller. I would recommend this to any gamer.

I have had numerous controllers and this one feels and works the best. I love the natural feel, the customization of it, and the case it comes in. If you are a gamer, you need this.

Being able to configure it just about any way you want is why it's worth buying. Thought it was going to be too many bells and whistles, but is high quality.

Great controller I hope they upgrade it to allow multiple button mapping
