Excellent build quality. Never take your thumbs off of the thumb sticks by using the paddles on the back.

My nephew loves the controller nice and heavy, well built he is still get adjusted to the programmable features.

This controller is practically "perfect" in every sense it really seems like its made of top quality parts since the controller does have some fairly weight to it. The funny thing about me buying this controller is that I don't own a Xbox One nor have I ever played with the regular Xbox One controller either, so it's impossible for me to say how superior the Elite Controller is from the regular one. But in any case I bought this Elite Controller about a day or two after the release of TC: The Division. I previously played Watch Dogs and Tomb Raider with the regular Xbox 360 controller, and I must say the feeling and handling is awesome in every way. Now I don't want to play on my Xbox 360 with that cheap plastic controller... Anyway I still need to experiment with the paddle's in the back, also they haven't been a problem by getting in the way and you can chose to remove them as well if you don't like them. The controller also comes with three sets of heights; short, normal, and long joysticks, so far I've kept the normal sized ones on. This controller can be customized to your specific needs even the triggers in the back. I only have 2 CONS for this controller, First the finish surface. It's hard to describe since it does have some grip to it but if you have oily fingers or sweaty hands (Like me) you're going to smudge and leave your finger prints. It's not as as bad as putting your hands on a glossy surface but I just wipe it afterwards with my shirt. The second and BIGGEST CON I would say about this controller is the price point. In all honestly I don't think I have ever spent so much money on a "single" gaming peripheral ( I even used a $15 Reward Coupon...). Even my Corsair K70 Mechanical Keyboard wasn't this expensive either($94). But I suppose if you combine a Gaming Mouse and Keyboard it kinda totals the same depending which brand you with. To conclude, yes it was expensive but I have ZERO regrets I like everything about this controller. Color, Handling, Range of customization features (Triggers, Paddles, Joysticks, D-Pad), plus you can re-map your button layout through the Xbox Accessories App in windows .

Feels and looks great. I like the long thumbstick and the PlayStation style round thumbstick. At the moment only using 2 paddles;(one long bottom, one top short). Not used to the paddles and can be very cumbersome, & easily bumped. Xbox One has a configuration app which makes the price of the control worth it IF USED CORRECTLY. So study up on it. Only played about 20hrs worth so too early to notice wear and tear. Don’t purchase without insurance which bumps price to almost $200.00. It’s for serious gamers who are looking for an edge on the competition.

Well made controller with many options. You can not only configure the buttons through the XBox app (can be done on the regular controllers also) but you can change the type of digital stick from a cross into a rocker. This enhanced play for example by facilitating the ability to perform combos on fighting games. You can also change the heights of the analog sticks which definitely changes comfort and ability. Experimenting with all the options is highly recommended- for example do you want to use rear paddles or not. Or you can make the shoulder button fire quicker. Stick is well built but I had to dock one star for the price.

I really love this control works great and I love the build quality. I do think it is a bit expensive.

So far I've been using this controller for nearly a month and absolutely love it! I highly recommend starting with a subset of the paddles to retrain your brain to use them, then add more once you've gotten comfortable with it.

Bought this for my son and honestly its kind of expensive for a controller but my son loves it and says that its much better than a regular controller.

awesome controller, i still hit paddle buttons accidentally, but you can turn that function off depending on game. comfort is amazing. movement is smooth. enjoying so far.

I love the weight of this controller, the feel of the body and the interchangeable bits. A must have.

Its an expensive controller, one is enough but I have 2 boys fighting over it. It is very well built and I would spoil myself with one but again I think the price is a bit much.

First off, this is a heavy controller and well built. The extra control paddles underneath take some getting used to and do make holding the controller somewhat awkward, but they can be removed. But, if you are a serious gamer, this is a great controller that can give you a little extra boost. It has a rapid fire capability that can come in handy. The switchable accessories are great too. I find I don't really change them too much. It does take some getting used to, but I have used just about every controller there is since Atari (Most of you are probably saying, "what's that"), and I do like it. It is a little pricy though.

I picked this up to replace my worn-out 360 controller for playing Destiny 2. It's got to be one of the best gaming controllers ever made. Heavy in the hand, solid construction and really thoughtful features you wouldn't necessarily expect in a gaming device. The configuration tools (at least in Windows 10) allow you to quickly change trigger action and customize button function. There's even a hardware toggle for shallow triggering. Absolutely recommend.

Pros of the controller: Good buttons and bumpers (feels like they wont break easy), Good Grip Convex sticks are pretty good, the case with it is nice, nice d pads, I like the color of the controller Cons: Controller May be a bit heavy (I was not sure whether to put this as a con or not) . The Paddles that come with it are useless - they get in the way of your finger grip. I don't like those tiny finger concave sticks, way too small for my fingers. I ended up returning this product.

Solid controller ... GOOD WEIGHT AND FEEL.. Play ESO with it, awesome for on the fly bar swapping !!! Very ergonomical !!!

My son loves his new Xbox elite controller. He loves the paddles and the way the controller fits his hands.

Been using this remove for a few weeks now and still not sold on it. It does feel good in the hands with the added weight and different texture over the standard remote. However, the main point are the additional programmable buttons on the back. I've tried and tried to use them, but years of playing without them I can't seem to mentally break old habits to leverage them. Have 2 more weeks before my return period is up so this may still go back, not sure.

The Xbox One Elite controller is seriously on of the best controllers I've ever owned, the fact that its so customizable with all the alternate joysticks and d-pad, along with the option to customize the settings of the controller in the xbox, so you could tweak with things like how fast the joysticks react to movement, and how fast the triggers react. Honestly one of the best Xbox products on the market, it may seem steep in price but I promise its worth it.
