I thought the original Xbox One controller was an upgrade to my 360 controllers, then the features and reliability of the upgraded Covert Ops came and it became my new PC controller. After purchasing the Xbox One Elite I use the controller on my Xbox, on my computer and on the go. The quality is top notch, the ergonomics are unbeatable and the packaging (case, cable, alternate buttons/sticks) is great and allows me to have the controller suit all my needs!

I love this controller. It feels great in the hand and the paddles can really improve your play.

If you're into any level of competitive gaming, I would recommend this controller. The paddles themselves took a day or two to get used to, but now I rarely find myself using the buttons as the paddles are more convenient. Also helps me because my hands are smaller, and the controller & paddles feel very ergonomic. It is a hefty chunk of money, all things considered, and may not be for everyone, but if you think you'd use it, I'd strongly recommend it.

Like the title states, there are some things that need improving. The controller feels awesome. It's got the right balance and weight to it. Obviously even Microsoft saw room for improvement as they recently announced the 2.0 version that adds in the case charging. My biggest gripe right now is the customization software, while super robust and really good, is just a tick on the complicated side. I'll be back when it finally dies in a few months to update how long it actually survived.

I read reviews before purchasing. I own both an Xbox and ps4. The controller is fantastic. I play only First Person Shooters. It's great to not have to make adjustments if you want to jump or crouch. You can keep your fingers on aiming at all times. It won't make you into a beast, but will definitely give you many montage moments. Build quality is superb. Remapping is easy too. You can use the controller on a ps4 if you use a cronusmax and USB hub.

This controller out of the box is a tank. Feels sturdy. Used it for almost 2 years now. The paddles work great. I would recommend. The only problem I've had in 2 years is the rubber grips on the back side of the controller have come off. They slowly but surely loosened then fell off. This is a common issue with these controllers. It would be 5 stars for me if it wasn't for this design flaw. Do keep in mind, that I've used this controller for 2 years. I game every day. It still works perfect aside from the grips.

This controller is great you have a lot of configs for it. It is a little heavy make sure you do the controller update for it.

Well built controller with tons of customizable options. If you are serious about gaming it is 100% worth it

So I had friends tell me how great this was, but $150?? My cousin bought one and I used it for a few minutes and went- yes, I'll get one. Got mine home and heck yes! I've been gaming for 30yrs now and this is by far the best manufacture controller available. Solid build, right setting and even a great case to store it in. I switch sticks depending on the game I'm playing for best feel even. If your on the fence- go for it. You won't regret it at all!

This controller is fantastic for console FPS. Being able to assign the paddles to whatever function I need improves my gameplay drastically. If you enjoy games like Titanfall, Destiny, or Halo, you will love this controller. Takes a bit of time to get used to, but it ends up feeling natural. My only complaint is that I feel like the grip on the backside is going to eventual tear away with enough use. With the way I hold the controller I can feel the change between the plastic and rubber and I don't know how well it will hold up over time.

Was gifted this for Christmas from my fiancé and I love it great overall weight, feels like a quality build. Sticks are responsive and springy. All the extra magnetic stickheads are just an added bonus. Paddles are responsive and not clunky. Ability to remap the controller with the Xbox one controller as well as change sensitivity as great aswell. Overall an excellent product. As a side not defiantly purchase product protection given price

This controller is awesome in that it works both on the xbox and PC. When you see it in stock, get it quick, otherwise you will have to wait a while to get them, as the go out of stock quickly.

Go with the new Elite Series 2 controller instead if you’re looking for something like this. The series 2 is built a little bit more sturdy, but either way they’re both fragile controllers which break over time— so be prepared to either purchase a warranty on them, repair them yourself, or you’ll have to eventually buy a brand new one. They are the best controllers you’ll ever use if you’re prepared to spend the money on them.

This controller is just not recommended for the hardcore gamers this controller is also just awesome to have.

The controller is nice. I don’t think it’s twice as good as the standard controller for twice the price though. My last one (yes I bought it twice) broke very quickly but I haven’t had it long enough to say if that’s better this time around. Invest in the extra protection plan... it’s the only way to make sure the controller is worth the price. Also only buy if you need the extra triggers... otherwise you’ll get used to them and regular controllers won’t be good enough anymore. Speaking from experience...

FEELS GOOD IN HANDS GREAT RESPONSE PLENTY OF EXTRA TRIGGERS

I absolutely love this controller. It feels great and you can customize the heck out of it. My only complaint (and this goes with ALL controllers), I wish there was more physical tension on the thumbsticks. Also, if you are going to use this controller for everyday play (i use mine only for FPS), GET THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION PLAN! You will thank me later. Like all controllers, you will eventually get stick drift and/or wear and tear.

I have owned this product for two years now. I love it - use it every single time I game. I use the paddles to map buttons for whatever game I’m playing to get an additional edge. For example in call of duty, you can map the crouch button to the paddle and lay on the ground just by squeezing your fingers and you don’t have to reposition your hand.

This controller feels great. Buttons and triggers all magnetic. Goes great and is a must have especially partnered with the X

I like the feel and weight of this controller. I haven't dabbled with extra triggers, but they are easy to remove or install.
