I did not understand how to program buttons at first, but figured it out pretty quick. This controller does what I want it to for PUBG. I programmed one button for running, change weapons, lean right and lean left as well as using first aid. It makes my game play more smooth and easier to play while focusing more on the actions I need.

This is a great controller. Somewhat hard to justify the price considering it does NOT come with the rechargeable battery pack which is definitely a negative. But overall a well made controller made with great quality and quickly interchangeable joysticks and dpad. The paddles on the back do take some getting used to and are easily accidentally bumped when playing.

This is the best controller I've ever used. The weight and feel are perfect.

The controller feels really nice and is easily customized to work the way you want. The downfall comes to where you need to be able to flick the joysticks quickly to pick things in menus and such. The joystick kicks back the opposite direction before it resets to the middle so you end up going to a completely different box than you planned.

Super nice feel, many options for customization. A must for a serious gamer.

Very hard to get early on. I should have preordered. I love it. Everything is magnetic and easily adjustable. Pricy, but if you game alot it's worth it.

My son tells me it is the bomb!, in his 10 year old voice. He loves it and has gone all in. I see it as 3 games I could have bought...

The controller is great and it is awesome to be able to customize. I don't think it is worth the money though.

If you're looking for a game controller for your XBOX ONE or Windows 10 machine, and will accept nothing less than the best, than the Microsoft XBOX Elite controller is for you. I've been gaming for over 35 years, and have never felt a gamepad with this high-level of build quality. The interchangeable analog joysticks and D-pad, the rubberized coating, the four customizable "paddles" on the bottom-- event the hefty weight of the thing-- you know you're using a high-quality piece of equipment. Yes, it costs $150. But I'll be using this controller for at least 5 or 6 years. My only gripe-- the buttons (A,B,X,Y) don't light up, so it's tough to see them in the dark. But most folks have these memorized by now. The XBOX icon lights up, however. One of the best features is the ability to limit the "throw" distance of the left and right triggers. On games where you don't need the full range of analog movement (Pinball Arcade, any arcade shooter) you can set a switch that makes the triggers fire a lot sooner. Wonderful. I also love the three different sets of joystick tops that are easily swapped out-- they're held on magnetically. If you have the cash and the need for the best controller out there for XBOX ONE and Windows 10, this is a must-get. I used to like the Razer Onza Tournament Edition, but this blows it out of the water.

If you are serious about video games this is worth every penny. I think that if you are a casual gamer you may not find any benefits with this controller. If you care about your K/D ratio in online multiplayer shooters, this may or may not improve it somewhat. It just takes time getting used to it. I love mine. It is hefty and sturdy. It feels like a high quality product.

You can customize everything on the controller to your liking. It is a little heavier but you'll get used to it. Way cheaper than a Scuf controller too.

While this controller is for serious gamers, you don't need to be a pro to enjoy the quality. There is a bit of a learning curve to use the paddles effectively. It'll even take some getting use to without the paddles. Stick with it and overtime it will pay off. I recommend after a week of no paddles to add only 2 of them and get use to it for a couple weeks before adding the other two. Make gradual changes as you get comfortable with the new style of the controller.

I have to have the paddles now. I hope this one don't break.but it's a great controller.

Myself and son play xbox and have always used the regular controllers, after using one of these I bought another. It's so smooth and more responsive.

I know the price is high, but this is the best controller I have used for Xbox. You can enable trigger stops and change the sensitivity of the sticks. The paddles took some getting use to for me and I had to only use two of them instead of all four because of how I hold my controller I was hitting the others mistakenly, but still love this controller.

This is the best gaming controller I have ever owned. The configuration options are fantastic. It has a great solid feel without being too heavy. The price is high, but it is well worth the price. I used to buy all games that were multi-platform for the PS4, but after buying this I have been getting them for the XB1 just because of how superb this controller works.

Love the build and customization make other controllers feel like toys.

I have been playing video games on almost all the systems since the Magnavox Odessey. This is hands down the best controller I have ever owned. PROS: Textured rubber grip, extra paddles which are metal and attach with magnets, toggle switch to take the "play" out of the trigger pulls making it a shorter distance so you can shoot quicker, multiple thumb stick options, improved dish shaped d-pad ,customizable button mapping saves to two slots, APP to name & customize & remap controller. CONS: The elite controller is noticeably heavier that the standard X1 controller, the price is a bit high but think of it as buying a Lexus instead of a Toyota. I wish there were more options as far as paddle and thumstick shapes (but I have read official licensed replacement/ customizing parts are coming out in the near future. This controller is almost a work of art and perhaps should be in the Smithsonian for its form, function, and quality! Enjoy this controller, you will not regret this purchase!

When I say it seems too expensive for what it is please understand I do use this every day when playing my Xbox One. The problem is like any controller its buttons will break down over your time gaming and even though I'm able to program the paddles to do different things for a better gaming experience, I feel that the price is just too high for this controller.
