Good controller takes a bit of time to get used to using different button combinations.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. The Controller feels nice in your hands, it's a bit heavier, the hair triggers are awesome and it's just a great controller. After some of the other reviews on here I would recommended to purchase the best buy warranty

Let's just get this out of the way first. The price is horrendous. $150 for a controller is nuts and very hard to justify, even with the pro quality of the controller. That being said, this controller is a step up from the standard xbox one controller. I bought the Elite for the main purpose of using the hair trigger options for FPS games like Halo and the paddle buttons on the back side for racing games. With the ability to modify and map all of the buttons and switch between multiple "profiles" these were excellent additions. Other than the price, the two big issues I have are the rubberized grips on the handles. They are, in my opinion, worse than the standard controller because they make my hands sweat noticeably more and they do not provide sufficient ventilation. Also, while I enjoy having multiple joystick options, I wish Microsoft would have included a way to adjust the tension of the sticks. When playing, I feel like the sticks are moving around too loosely. Anyways, if you can get over the initial sticker shock of the purchase, I would recommend the controller even with the negatives I mentioned.

I love that I can customize the way this controller works for me. I have the right trigger set up for quick fire and I have the 2 left side back buttons on, but the right ones off. And I use the disk-like d-pad. I also like the rubbery grips.

Controller feels very solid. Has more weight than the regular xbox controller. But feeling solid does not make it more durable. It was dropped on the right shoulder button and it broke. Suggest they make the buttons out of aluminum. It would make it 5 out of 4 stars if that happened.

The build quality is outstanding.Being able to switch the high of the thumb sticks in 1 second is awesome.I also recommend getting the 2 Years extended Warranty for 19.99.Some people have said it broke down in 6 months.So,Protect your $150.00 investment for 19.99.

This controller is the best controller for gamers who are trying to bring their skill a tier higher. Works best for FPS games imo, but the flexibility of the changeable buttons allows it to work with any game. Definitely worth the money.

Is it overpriced? Maybe. Is it loaded with features? Sorta. Does it feel like a miniature Ferrari in your hands? Definitely. This controller is, and I mean this in the best way, a luxury item. Sure, the steel paddles for the back are way useful in certain situations, and the hair trigger settings shave milliseconds off your TTK in shooters, but ask yourself this: "Am I really the caliber of player to worry about milliseconds?" No. Of course you're not. That being said, you'll love this like a newborn. You'll probably sleep with it next to your head for the first couple days. I did, and I'm a better person for it. Seriously though, there is a glaring con here: for putting so much effort into this pro version of their standard controller, Microsoft uses the same sensor array for the joysticks that they do for the standards, meaning these are gonna be susceptible to drift and dead spots.

If you're on the edge just buy it, unbox it, and hold it in your hands. You'll be sold from that moment on. So worth it, my gameplay has gotten so much stronger because of how excellent this controller is with the included customization options.

I was surprised when I bought the controller I thought may be able to regular controller with extra features, but I started using it I notice it's all that and a bag of chips. I love being able to enter change the joysticks and adding different features
