This Microsoft Game Pass is AWESOME! There are so many games to choose from, and there is something for everyone in the family. Got a little kid? There's games for them to play. Got a big kid and/or a husband? There's games for them. There's even Miss Pac-Man for the vintage game lover! Quest games. Strategy games. Shoot-'em-up games. The game pass is super easy to use. My kids had no problem getting it set up and navigating through it. A nice feature of it is being able to just go to the games section to see what's available instead of having to go to the store. It's convenient to see what's available apart from what you've already downloaded. Overall, this is a fantastic way to try and play a lot of games without having to break the bank to do so. I'm very pleased

Excellent! As a parent of 3 (2 being teen) who occasionally play video games, it's hard to justify the cost of one game. I've seen it time and time again, where they’ve saved up their money in order to buy a certain game. When they’re tired of it, it’s worth a tiny fraction of what we paid. The Xbox Game Pass is perfect! The library is full of new as well as old games, and accessible at the click of a button. The newest games are available on release day, without worrying leaving the house. I love that they can “rent” the games that they want to play, when they want to play them, and they’ve got so much more selection than they could ever have if we bought games individually. My 13 year old son said it was extremely easy to set up and access from his Xbox One. I actually didn’t have to do much more than tell him that we had it, and he was off to explore. My 11 year old daughter also has been more interested in the Xbox One, because she can try out different kinds of games without actually buying them. She’s never really had the opportunity to explore the different kinds of games, but now she can. I think the price is very reasonable too. If we looked at the cost of other games (either off the shelf, or miscellaneous smartphone apps), the monthly Game Pass subscription is still well below the other options – and the options without commitment is priceless. We’ve already paid out for the Xbox One, might as well get as much use as we can out of it. As a mom, can I give a high-five at the fact that there are no discs and cases to be lost or scattered?

Great product for the average gamer

The Xbox game pass was advertised very well and I had a great idea of what to expect. It was more or less a Netflix version for Xbox games. Just as Netflix is with movies, the pass has some games that are better than others. The pass was very easy to use and I had no problems setting it up. I would recommend it to any gamers that are interested in a variety of games. The only improvements I see with the game pass, in general, is a wider selection of sports games as well as increasing download time. Games take a very long to download and can take a day or two depending on the size. Other than that I see the price for this game pass as very well worth it for the average consumer. Being able to spend 9.99 a month for over 100 games cannot be beaten. The games are also categorized to find what best suits your style of games. You can easily search through the database of games and find new releases, action games, car racing games and the list goes on and on. If you are a customer of Xbox and are spending a lot on multiple games purchased individually, this investment would be well worth it in the long run. If consumers have trouble understanding the concept of what the game pass is, it should be advertised as the Netflix of games. Everyone knows and is very familiar with Netflix and what they do, so explaining the game pass as similar to that will allow customers to properly understand what this game pass is all about.

      Hey there,

Thanks for recommending Xbox Game Pass to other gamers! We're glad that you're enjoying the wide selection of games included for a low monthly fee. And you're right -- it's a great investment if you tend to purchase a lot of games individually.

      Hello there,

We're sorry for any confusion regarding Xbox Game Pass. It sounds like you may be interested in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines the features of Xbox Game Pass for Xbox, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Live Gold into one membership. Unfortunately, the standard version of Xbox Game Pass does not include Xbox Live Gold.

      Hope that helps,

Honestly One of the Best Deals in Gaming

I can't express how great Game Pass is. At first, when it was originally announced, I thought that it would have some decent use like the good ol' Sega Channel back in the day to easily build a quick library out, but it wouldn't provide me with a reason to get it since most of the library appeared to be games I either purchased or owned via XBL Gold. Needless to say, I originally signed up for the free trial at launch and haven't looked back since. New games are added relatively frequently and the biggest seller of all to me is that Microsoft adds all of their first party games (e.g. Gears of War, Forza, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown, etc.) to Game Pass on their respective release dates. And now, with Microsoft's recent expansion of their first party studios, it will only enhance the value of Game Pass. If you had plans to purchase two of their first party games over a given year then it effectively pays for itself while granting you access to well over 100 other games to play as well. Now other studios have been releasing their games Day One on the platform too and I imagine that will continue to grow as the platform does. I can't say enough great things about Game Pass, I've talked many friends into signing up for it and they're all happy they did. Give it a shot with a free trial and see for yourself!
