Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a fantastic way to play new Xbox, Bethesda and more games on release, with hundreds of other excellent titles accessible to enjoy at any time. If you can only afford one subscription service, this is the clear winner.

This review is for ASUS - ROG Strix SCAR 18 18" 2.5K 240Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 9 HX - 32GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 - 2TB SSD - Off-Black, which this gamepass comes with and the website wont seem to let me write a review for. I recently attempted to purchase an ASUS laptop from the Best Buy location in Knoxville, TN, and what should have been a simple pickup turned into a 90-minute ordeal that left me frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether I’ll ever shop at Best Buy again. I placed my order after confirming online that the item was in stock and “ready for pickup in about an hour.” After resolving a brief payment issue with my bank, I received a confirmation text from Best Buy at 3:55 PM. I left work at 4:30 PM and arrived at the store around 5:30 PM, expecting a smooth pickup. Instead, I encountered a chaotic and disorganized process: - Sales Associate A told me my order was in “scheduled” status and speculated that the item may have sold out—despite it being in stock. He couldn’t resolve the issue and handed it off. - Sales Associate B asked for my ID and phone number multiple times, then disappeared without explanation. - Sales Associate C briefly engaged, said he was waiting on B, then also vanished. - Sales Associate D (Conner) told me I needed to answer a phone call from the back office to verify the purchase. The call was blocked by my spam filter, and no one attempted to resolve the situation in person. At this point, I had been waiting 45 minutes, watching at least ten other customers successfully pick up their orders. Conner suggested canceling and redoing the purchase, but warned it would take another 30 minutes and might result in a temporary double charge. I was late for dinner with my family and had already provided all requested documentation. I asked him to cancel the order and provide a receipt—he said he couldn’t. Only after I received a cancellation text did I leave, feeling completely disregarded. Best Buy turned what should have been a streamlined pickup into a bureaucratic mess. I’ve been a loyal customer with a strong purchase history, and this experience made me feel like none of that mattered. I checked my credit card afterward—payment had gone through and was later canceled, so there was no issue on my end. I ended up ordering directly from ASUS. Hopefully, they can deliver the kind of customer experience Best Buy failed to provide.

I love the game library. Free months are always good months

It’s a great deal for completely free. The thing I like is the Xbox game pass is included in most Laptops Best Buy offers.
