Not only does it provide launch day access to all of Microsoft's 1st party games, which are at long last becoming a benefit worth paying for not even counting their recent acquisition of Blizzard, there's a deep catalog of older 1st and 3rd party games, the occasional 3rd party launch release, 10 hour trials of new EA releases and access to most of their games within 6-12 months of release, and PC Game pass included. There's also a pretty robust rewards program that awards points for playing GamePass games that can be redeemed for gift cards. The only real downside is that the monthly cost has increased multiple times since launch, though that can be ameliorated by resourceful shopping online.
