I have been able to try all kinds of games that I normally wouldn't have paid money for. Like Forza Horizon - I just don't like racing games. But it was free and immensely popular, so I downloaded it to try. And I loved it! I addition to the variety, you also get cloud streaming, which Xbox is the best at providing (vs other services, like PS Plus). There is just so much value here - if you plan to buy even two of the games on the Game Pass catalog, it will pay for itself. Wait until they are on sale and you can buy a whole year at a time at a lower price point!
