I love that I can have a library of games to check out on both my XBOX and my PC. I am the type of gamer that likes to try out a lot of different games. This platform gives me the opportunity to do that without having to fork over full priced games or buy physical used disks. There are also some huge day one AAA games that come out on here that I would end up paying full price for if I did not have this. It kind of makes no sense to not have this if you own an XBOX and a gaming PC.

New gen games like starfield are ready to go. I wish they had a more diverse game catalogue, but otherwise it's a pretty great deal!

If you upgrade from gold ...

If you upgrade to game pass from an older gold membership and want to go back to gold, DO NOT cancel your game pass membership! Instead turn off auto renew of game pass and let the game pass membership expire. Only then will you be able to buy a gold membership again!
