Why do i need to enter card info ?

It says enter your card information. If it’s free why do i need to add my card information for that . That i couldn’t understand. That’s why i didn’t redeem it yet .

Another subscription service…but…

Everything is a subscription in todays world. That’s frustrating to me. However, my family and I have leaned heavily on this subscription. Great titles available. Often times new releases are going straight to GamePass or arriving shortly thereafter. I am only a casual gamer these days but I have not paid for a full game in quite some time. The library on Game Pass is keeping me quite entertained. Recommended!
