They love getting new games every month for free they can play and a whole catalog of things to try. They've ended up buying a few things they loved from it being a free game on the pass.

Xbox game pass offers HUNDREDS of huge high quality games for prices as low as $10 a month. You even can play some of the newest games ON RELEASE DATE* like the new starfield! (Microsoft developed games usually) By the end of your subscription you are either ready to make some purchases or grab another month to try out and or play through a bunch more games! Its such an insane value for the dollar.
