Lost its value proposition

Furthermore, out of that 500+ games a significant amount is dedicated to space filler games. These are games commonly found to be free, cheap, or low value and are only included to make it seem like a better value than it is.

The library is constantly updated with new titles, including day-one releases from Xbox studios, which makes it easy to try big games without paying full price. Cloud gaming is a nice bonus for playing on the go, though it depends on your internet speed. The variety—from AAA blockbusters to indie gems—means there’s always something new to play. For the monthly cost, it’s easily one of the best subscriptions in gaming.
