Now that they included EA play on the package, you get a library of over 200 games available to you, and all the Xbox first party games are available day and date of release. You also get perks (like 6 months of spotify or a month of Disney +) and now you get streaming included on your cellphone of your console included with the membership. I keep it maxed out in case they raise the price because the deal is so good I have no idea when they could raise the price. The value proposition is insane. I have the 3 consoles and pc but after gamepass i find myself playing more on Xbox than anywhere else.

You’ll need to buy Xbox Live anyway if you like to play online so this is definitely the best option.

I can play Astroneer on my PC, while my spouse plays on the Xbox One X, and we can play together. You can do this with a multitude of games. The Game Pass on Xbox can be shared between accounts, but not on PC. Also with Ultimate, you get Xbox Live so online play is included. I went from never playing Xbox online and never planning to purchase Live, to having this service for the foreseeable future.

I;m satisfied w my purchase, although xbox new membership for pass would be cool, I didnt know about it and honestly dont want to be in any monthly payment subscription. would rather just buy this subscription instead. surprised bf so he didnt have to worry about paying for his membership on gold live and get to play the games on the game pass!!
