The Game Pass Ultimate subscription is a combination of Game Pass for Xbox, Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Gold. “Games as a service” seems to the way things are moving now, with Microsoft committing to make their first-party games available on Game Pass on launch day, but there are some drawbacks to this approach as well.

I don't stick with a single game too much so the variety of games always has me entertained. It's an added plus that I can cross-save with my PC and Xbox so I always have my progress saved.

GP has so many different games in it's library and many getting rotated in and out, monthly I believe. A con would be that some games get rotated out. A pro would be that indie games tend to come out on GP on release date, so if saves you a bunch of money for those wanting to check out indies.

However, even at regular price the Game Pass is pretty much a must have for Xbox owners, especially if you pay for a Gold account. Having access to Microsoft first party games and now having EA Play as part of it is crazy!

Access to first-party Xbox titles is worth it alone, but there are so many great hidden gems and indie titles to play on this service as well. These 3-month digital codes are great to get, especially when there's a deal, as you can redeem and stack up to three years worth!
