Gears of war, halo, horizon, are all on game pass and with more games to come, you will never be bored. If you want new AAA games, then it is a little disapponting. It is best for playing backwards conpatible games and trying out games that you would otherwise never buy or play.

While the standard price is still a good deal, there are always sales around Black Friday so that's the time to stock up since you can stack up to 3 years.

New games get added monthly and if your a fan of EA games, gamepass ultimate now includes access to ea play games. The latest Halo / Forza / Doom are all included to play as long as you have an active subscription.

But overall this is totally worth it for the few big titles that are part of the available game pass games.

I’ve tried PlayStations version of this and it was horrible with mostly old games and you had to stream most of the games and only in 720p. With game pass there are dozens of triple A titles to play and you can download them straight to your Xbox and play a lot of them in 4K. Definitely worth every penny!

Not all the game pass games are great. I usually buy these on sale every few months when new games are added. I do not think I could recommend buying this back to back unless you don't plan on playing anything besides the game pass games available.

Normally the Game Pass subscription isn't any cheaper if you buy several months in advance, but this one was discounted by I think ~ 10%. I would recommend the service at full price anyway as it's a great deal. You get hundreds of games available on Xbox and PC, as well as access to Xbox Gold.
