Go for it but the delivery time for the email is sluggish. I was definitely waiting a while to plug in the code on the Xbox store. Would be better of just buying from somewhere else that has a proven quick delivery. It’s still the best way other than going in store for the 12 month XBL card because Xbox doesn’t let you purchase the 12 month XBL anymore.

Upgrade to game pass

As of the date of this review Microsoft is still running the gold to game pass ultimate rollover. Any gold sub months are automatically converted upon upgrade to GP (up to 36 months). This is a cheap way to get GP for a couple years for a little under $5 a month.
