Love the fact that they sell the digital version. The digital version wasn't activated on purchase, but Best Buy was able to easily reactivate it and could tell the digital version had not been used.

used this then added game pass for a dollar and i got 13 months of game pass. did similar thing this year and have game pass for over a year for the price of gold

Before I begin, I know free to play games on Xbox no longer require a subscription to Gold. If all you want to do is play Fortnite, Apex, Overwatch 2, etc. on your Xbox, you DO NOT need to buy this product. Save your money. Xbox Live Gold should not exist. Locking online play, that you already paid for via buying the games, behind an arbitrary paywall when they don't even run most game servers outside of Xbox Live logins is the dumbest thing console players have gobbled up since the original Xbox. It baffles me that this was even allowed to be a thing in the first place and even more so that it is still a thing in 2022. The games that they offer on the service each month or so are usually just the cheapest shovelware Microsoft could find to pay as little as possible to offer it to members of this service, especially since Xbox 360 games stopped being offered in September 2022. Even worse, for Xbox One and later games you have to keep an active subscription to continue playing the game. You would be better off buying the few games that are even worth it separately. Cloud saves aren't even locked behind this service. If you only play singleplayer games click off this page and save your money, cause you don't need this. It is one of the good things about Xbox Live, unless you have an Xbox 360 in which case you do need Xbox Live Gold for cloud saves there. But you're gonna buy it anyways. I mean, I did, because I wanted to play games I purchased on Xbox online. If you have the means and will to do so, ditch Xbox entirely and go PC. It really isn't as complicated as you think it is and you can use that PC for whatever else you want/need to do. If you, like me, have friends on Xbox or you want to get the most value out of your $500 Xbox Series X, buy this scam and join me in sadness.

Good value of purchasing 12 months Xbox live digital download card. It was easy to apply to my Xbox Live account. Got another year of free games two per month. It’s a good buy versus purchasing the 3 months.

Too expensive. It’s necessary, but try to buy one year when it’s on sale.
