This is better than the 3 months because it last longer and time go by fast, so I would rather get the 12 month. Digital is the go because I got mine almost in 30 min or less by email

Before I begin, I know free to play games on Xbox no longer require a subscription to Gold. If all you want to do is play Fortnite, Apex, Overwatch 2, etc. on your Xbox, you DO NOT need to buy this product. Save your money. Xbox Live Gold should not exist. Locking online play, that you already paid for via buying the games, behind an arbitrary paywall when they don't even run most game servers outside of Xbox Live logins is the dumbest thing console players have gobbled up since the original Xbox. It baffles me that this was even allowed to be a thing in the first place and even more so that it is still a thing in 2022. The games that they offer on the service each month or so are usually just the cheapest shovelware Microsoft could find to pay as little as possible to offer it to members of this service, especially since Xbox 360 games stopped being offered in September 2022. Even worse, for Xbox One and later games you have to keep an active subscription to continue playing the game. You would be better off buying the few games that are even worth it separately. Cloud saves aren't even locked behind this service. If you only play singleplayer games click off this page and save your money, cause you don't need this. It is one of the good things about Xbox Live, unless you have an Xbox 360 in which case you do need Xbox Live Gold for cloud saves there. But you're gonna buy it anyways. I mean, I did, because I wanted to play games I purchased on Xbox online. If you have the means and will to do so, ditch Xbox entirely and go PC. It really isn't as complicated as you think it is and you can use that PC for whatever else you want/need to do. If you, like me, have friends on Xbox or you want to get the most value out of your $500 Xbox Series X, buy this scam and join me in sadness.

It’s been so long since I’ve had an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Just got a Series S, so needed the Gold. Having fun so far and appreciate the discounts on games.

I purchased this as a two for one, at that price it's the most cost effective. The most inexpensive subscription is $60 per year and buying 4 will save you $10. If your paying month to month then the savings skyrocket.

My son's Xbox Live subscription was coming up for renewal and Best Buy made it so easy to purchase the download for the 12 Months. Once I received the email with the code I just redeemed as usual.

My brother in law's subscription was about to expire and I purchased the digital membership for him. It take too long for the code to arrive and my brother in law was very happy with the gift.

Bought one and convert it to Game pass ultimate! Make sure you create a new account or your account has never subscribed to game pass ultimate. Otherwise, it will not work.

Xbox users pretty much need this to get the most from their system. My gold expired and I didn't have access to my cloud saves. Something you don't thing about when a game ask you where you'd live to save your game.

I mean, there's not much to say, it keeps the online experience fun when playing with friends online. The free games alone can be worth more than the price of admission.

Wish I didn't have to pay to play online, but it is what it is. The service is solid, although I have no idea what precautions there are for anti-hacking.

After I purchased the Xbox One, I think it's a rip off to be told you basically have to buy an Xbox Live subscription to get the most out of the Xbox.
