But this membership allows me to get games for free and play them whenever I want.

The Gold Membership is great to allow them to try out new games. This is much easier than getting an agreement on 1 game to purchases for them, and trips to the store!

I'm not, which makes the $60 price tag difficult to swallow. However, I think the monthly free games are worth the price of admission even though they're rarely great. I still enjoy trying out games I wouldn't have played, but for being a live subscriber. Sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised by the offerings.

The code came instantly and I was able to avoid disaster for him!
