I got this with the xbox bundle. I was going to get the year subscription, but why pass this one up?!? Microsoft even gave me a month free if i used the re occurring subscription option.

My kid needed to renew his Xbox Gold Live membership and Microsoft's website wasn't allowing us to purchase it online for 3 consecutive days! Easy way out of this mess was to drive to BestBuy near our home. Went in/out and was able to buy it using my BB Points/Credit for a lower price offered by MS.

I purchased the 3 months of Xbox live gold and got 3 months free, so I got a good deal. Also you get free games with the Gold subscription, also free games to try out on weekends.
