This is over priced and the free games suck now. Only reason i buy it is because the console is pretty much useless without it.

It seems that Xbox is no longer allowing you to get 12 months of gold. They will try to convert us t over to 4 months of game pass. Better deal is to get the 6 month game pass for the same price.

Fun game playing shouldnt cost this much just to play online though

PC Gamers can play PlayAnywhere titles with Xbox users on XBOX Live without purchasing XBOX Live Gold. The free games are ancient titles that you have already played through, or didn't want to play to begin with.

I Don't like that numbers are on your receipt. a card is better.

I hate it when bars have cover charges... why should I have to spend money just to again spend money at your venue? This is how I feel about xbox live gold. I paid $400 for the hardware and a premium $$ for games. Now I have to pay another premium to fully play it? Dislike. That being said it works and works well.

It is cheaper on the xbox one then what you pay here

Purchased on sale, don't see the benefit for younger children.

There was an issue with Digital Codes purchased from Best Buy. The codes were not accepted by Microsoft. They appeared as “Code Already Used.” Best Buy Customer Service passed the buck to Microsoft. That was a big disappointment! Microsoft took a couple of weeks and no resolve to the problem. Best But finally refunded my money. That should have been their original offer.

Its been over a decade and I still wonder why we need to pay $60/year… Other than that, digital order works great. Expect 20 minute delay for code.

Nice to have a membership but ps3 doesn't need one!

This was given to my son as a gift for 3 months and then I had to call and cancel to get them to stop billing my account for 24.99. It wasn’t really worth the hastle. They didn't use it much.

Over-priced... not Best Buy’s fault. While stable servers, I think multiplayer access, given the cost of the games and consoles, should be max of $20 year.

This used to be the only way to use most online features of an XBox, but no more. To make up for that, they give away *"free games"--* free as long as you're a Gold member, but they're all delete bin games you probably don't want anyway. Most you can get for a couple bucks online. Every year, it's less and less a deal and now that Microsoft protects the MSRP so well, you're always going to pay close to retail for it. My advice is pass. I bought it just to finish two games I got "free"--. In over two years of these "free" games, that's all I could find worth a dame--for EITHER XBox system.

Is the best online subscription in the whole world... the entire landscape of existence. All praise microsoft!

Only have me 4 months game pass. It use to give you 12 months so Microsoft must have fixed this
