Great value, even better if you buy this and convert it to Ultimate Game Pass. (which will save you money in the long run!) You can get 3 years of XBL Gold, and then do the trial (or buy 1 month of Ultimate Game Pass - it will convert all 3 years of Gold to Ultimate Game Pass. And you can do family sharing, and share all of that goodness with one other Xbox. (and you only need one Gold subscription between the two consoles too)

I tried out the free trial membership that came with my Xbox. Then I tried the $10 one month membership which flew by. So I switched over to the 3 month membership which was a slightly better bargain which was okay. But if you're going to keep buying 3 month memberships, you might as well buy the 1 year membership because for the price of 6 months, you are getting 1 year. 50% OFF! You can't find a better deal anywhere. It's a must have!

This was a lower cost choice if you only need access to online multiplayer modes of Xbox games. It's is now Xbox Gamepass core with a small selection of games to play.

Kids got an used X-box from their Uncle for Christmas and so to get the best use out of X-box bought this Microsoft - Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Membership [Digital]. Had to wait for the free 3 month Premium to expire before I could use this. No option to put this in to take over, had to wait till the day after and then put this in. Was priced about the same everywhere and gives access to a lot of content.

The 12 month gold card is always a good value and you need it for playing online so I recommend buying 12 month over 1 or 3 month.
