I'm not sure I've ever paid full price for an Xbox Live Gold Membership, but if you can take advantage of a sale or BOGO offer it's generally worth the expense. If you do any amount of online gaming, it's obviously essential — but even if you don't, the handful of free games per month usually offer at least one thing worth playing, and Microsoft is constantly offering Gold Members-only discounts on other games (even fairly recent releases) that can also help to balance out the cost of the membership.

The "Microsoft - Xbox LIVE 12-Month Gold Membership Card" was a must have for my older grandson at Christmas!! He loves it!!

Renewing my subscription is easy as can be when I go through the process of buying the digital code. The code is sent within seconds and I’m back to playing. Not to mention it’s usually cheaper through BestBuy vs other retailers.

A must purchase when buying a new console. Might as well keep the extra money in your pocket to save up for additional game.

Not a horrible price. Very straightforward. Definitely know the code will work.

Don't pay $9.99 per month for Live. 12 months subscriptions average just $5 per month, plus if you purchase it with a console the price drops to just $30 - $2.50 / month. Total bargain at that price. Unlike earlier consoles were live play was optional, new games like Titanfall CANNOT be played at all without an on-line membership.

Xbox Live Gold membership is a needed add on for true Xbox gaming. It’s the only way to be able to play live games with your friends plus you get access to free games each month. Was able to apply Best Buy rewards to get this at a reduced rate.

You have to get this card to play online. This one is the best for the money if you stay with xbox.

Have bought Xbox Live codes for several years. I have bought them In three months, six months, and now 12 months timeframes. The best value is definitely buying it for a 12 month cycle. Works out to be five dollars per month. You can’t beat that price.

I never got my activation code sent to my email and it even says It will and I'm getting very frustrated

So nice that they have this AND in the digital version, email came instantly! Worked right away, awesome as Microsoft makes it hard to do more than 1 or 3 months anymore. Much cheaper buying the full year! Thanks bes buy for selling this!

It was simple purchasing Xbox Live through Best Buy. They had a really good deal when I purchased the Xbox One with it.

I have been an Xbox fan since day one. You definitely need to have an Xbox live account to get the most out of your Xbox console. You can pay for it monthly or every three months but save more money when you get the 12 month subscription.

I have bought these membership cards so many times. When you buy the digital ones off BestBuy’s website, they tend to have some really good bargains that you may not find in the store. Very quick and easy to use. Great for a gift idea.

Great value for the 12 month membership! You get the monthly games with gold (4 games a month) and the online multiplayer access. Recommend to purchase as it has a better value than a monthly or 30month subscription.

Lucked out and got this on sale. Anymore it seems these rarely go on sale so when you can grab. If not on sale it still much cheaper than paying monthly or 3 months at a time plus Microsoft has deleted their 12 month subscription online.

Spending $10 a month for this service is crazy. We paid $35 on sale for the whole year. This is the only way to go.

Let's you play games with friends. Also this review is for my 25 reward points. So what can I say... free points!

Avoid monthly plans that x box offers. Those monthly plans that with over time charges more what a full month subscribtion should cost. If you are able to save enough I recommend getting the 12 month. Those short term ones of month to month are and should be used as a financial emergency lol

This is so worth it. I always wait til around this time of year because they really drop the price on these cards. You get an awesome deal with the 12 month membership and it doesn't break the bank! This is the perfect gift to accompany any console, game or accessory.
