Buying the year is a better deal though because you save 50% that way ($60 vs $120 if paid $9.99 each month). HOWEVER. I got mine on a $9.99 deal so I got THREE months for the price of ONE! Can’t be beat!!

There’s allowed me to play with all my friends that I wanted to play with and helped me play online/multiplayer. A must if you like to play online games.

Whats good to note that many people don't know, however, is that you buy one live account, and its good for Xbox live on BOTH Xbox 360 AND Xbox One! The sales person at BestBuy didn't know, and thought I needed 2, but once you buy live for your Xbox account, if the same gamertag is used for both systems, it works for both! Only downside is that when you bought a year subscription you used to get a complimentary extra month, but it looks like thats gone now.
